As a believer of grace and faith to read of the Huguenot struggle and see their faith and hope throughout their life of belief brings hope

A lot of religious history in Europe… showing how horrible people treated each other overall. Catholics the primary bigoted abusers in this series. Although Protestants in their time being bigoted abusers. The love between the protagonists, and their love for their children was well portrayed.

I enjoyed this historical novel as it is a link to my father's heritage. Well written and an easy read and enjoyable for those who like historical fiction.

It was an intense story of faith in the love of freedom in religion. It was inspiring to understand the depth of their convictions.

This was a historical chronicle of the Huguenot history. It gave me a good overview of what one of my ancestors endured during this time. Well written and easy to read. I enjoyed it.

This book is a page turner. I gained a deeper understanding of that period of history. I have recommended the book to several people and they are excited to start their journey through the pages of the Huguenot.

I really wanted to love these books. Sadly, I found the characters shallow and difficult to befriend. It is a pleasant read but sadly, I'm not enthusiastic.

This isn't exactly great literature but it's a great way to learn about a not well known period of history. Fascinating to me as a history buff.

I disliked all three novels bound into one book, but I really enjoyed the writing. Having Heugenot ancestry myself, I have a greater understanding of the political and social climate of the time, and the story-line seemed very real.

With ancestors who were Hugenots and shunted out of France I found these books were a good insight into some of what they went through. Well written and kept me interested from start to finish. Looking forward to reading the next issues.

Thoroughly enjoyable story along with historic facts. I would thoroughly recommend this story to other people. Also it was easy to read and not filled up with drivel to pad it out.

Well paced story with interesting characters; well written and absorbing. One is drawn into the lives of the characters and carried along with them.

History is a great teacher if you let it. The trials of this fictional family highlight why we should learn from that history.
