Humble Bee310 Polycotton Beekeeping Jacket with Round Veil

This is my initial review of the product and shipping. First let me say I ordered this jacket in a bit of a hurry and hoped for the best. I got a 3XL for my husband who is 6’4” and weighs roughly 330 lbs. The jacket was shipped quickly and reached me next day as promised. I was very pleased with that. So got the jacket home and my husband tried it on, the picture attached shows how it fits him, it’s a tad snug in the stomach but I feel like with a second shirt underneath he should be fine. The jacket itself feels really well made and durable. I loved that the emblem is embroidered which shows quality. The zipper is metal brass which is great. My jacket isn’t even this well made and it’s kept me safe through several inspections. My husband seemed pleased, the real test will be this weekend when he has to put it to use. I will add/update my review on the actual durability of the jacket once it has been worn when we inspect our ”hot” hive.

Very good quality. Can’t rate higher on comfort and light weight only because it has to be thick and heavy to protect you. So while they are 4 stars it is due to the functionality of the product which overall is 5 stars. I love the pockets that it comes with. The elastic banding helps keep bees out without having to resort to extra banding. The bag it comes in can be reused which is very eco conscious. I wish the hood could fully detach but otherwise I wouldn’t change a thing and will be buying from this brand in the future.

UPDATE: Humble bee has sent me a new jacket, and even upgraded it to a ventilated suit! We're very happy with their service and the new jacket is flawless quality.___________________________________________________________________________________________________My father and I both use and love Humble bee products. We both received our Jackets and loved them. However, after only a total of 3 uses, the bottom of the zipper has torn from the ploycotten jacket, and has rendered the jacket unusable!I have tried to contact Humble Bee via their website, but I only ever receive the error, "Invalid Requester" when I try to make a ticket!We hope Humble bee sees this and is able to replace the jacket at the very least.

I ordered two of these, one for my wife and one for myself. Both fit exactly as described in the sizing chart (XL and Small). They are made well and seem durable. I have been using mine for regular beekeeping for a month and it works flawlessly to keep bees out of my face and from stinging my torso. The jackets have some excellent features like oversized rings on the zippers so you can feel them with gloves on, and elastic thumb loops on the sleeves to keep your sleeves down when putting on tall gloves. They also came with a super handy zippered carrying bag which also fits my gloves, bee brush, and hive tool. I would absolutely order these again!

The fit of the jacket is very good with sleeves that are long enough and plenty of elastic to keep those little bugs out. The only flaw I found in the garment was that the edges of the inner seam where the hood meet the jacket are not finished.mi hope they don't fray too badly in the first washing. The material is substantial and there are plenty of pockets. I would recommend this jacket very highly. I am 5'5" and weigh 120 pounds and the small fits well.

This company has been awesome! The jacket fits wonderfully and has held up to some pretty heavy work. The hood/veil is sturdy and doesn't get in your face when working. The one issue I had was when my wife washed the jacked with the veil attached and the veil got a couple of small holes in it. I notified the company and asked if I could purchase a replacement. They were happy to help and the service was extremely timely. Thanks Humble Bee!!!! Customer forever here. =)

The suit is ok, fits me well and is comfortable. My biggest complaint is that it looks as though either the zipper that zips up the suit in the front was either sewed in backwards or it is for a left handed person. The part that you pull up/down to zip up/down is on the Left side whereas most zippers it is on the Right side. Not being left handed, this makes it very awkward and cumbersome to start the zipper and zip up and down. Don’t think I’ve ever see a zippered jacket like this before, a mistake by the manufacturer or for a left handed person??

Bought this to have a second piece suit so other people can help me the supers are getting heavy and I’m getting older it seems to fit me fine little baggie but you never know who’s going to help me so one size should fit all when you get it bigger

Have looked at and returned different jackets but this one fits the bill, wanted one with round veil which this has and slightly lighter weight.Most I looked at were rather thick fabric, let's face it it's usually spring and summer when we wear these garments so warmth isn't usually an issue,and they were all bit over engineered with far too many pockets! This is a quality product fit for purpose at a reasonable price. Have already worn the jacket for several inspections and it is sting proof.My only issues are it is bit on shorter side for the taller of us(I am 6.3), and it took while to arrive, but then it did come from Luxembourg and apparently the humble bee donates 10% to a bee charity of some kind(it did arrive before their estimated delivery date).Highly recommend.

Quality material, washes and dries well.Initially the wire circle in the headpiece snapped but the seller was happy to send a new suit.
