It's a practical tool!
I do not use it for pain relief. My husband and I use it for our faces. We charged it in December after Xmas for the 1st time and here it is March 1 and still charged. We use it about 3-4 times a week. I love that after 5 minutes or so it automatically turns off.

Odd light options, odd charger
This product works well for purple (mixed red & blue) light, but you should be aware that while it has the physical capacity to switch to steady all-blue or all-red light, it’s not programmed that way. For all-blue or all-red your ONLY choice is pulsing (flashing) light. Why? No idea. I truly wish it were different, especially to have a steady red light option. Oh well. Also, this device charges in the strangest way… just below the light circle it has a small round hole for the power cord, which is an absurdly short USB cable. I think I’m going to have to get a connector so I can extend with another cable. Again, why?? Would it have been so hard to make the cord 3-4 feet instead of 8-10 inches?

Awesome light therapy
I really like this infrared light therapy wand. It's really versatile because you can target specific areas on your body that need help and you can adjust the light therapy to exactly what you need for each area. The light shines on a much larger area than many light wands of this sort and it has an automatic shut-off after a few minutes so that it does not overheat. I have been using this on my torqued knee for a week or so, and the pain has nearly gone away. I really like that I can basically take this anywhere because of its size. I also like that it works so quickly and the sessions don't have to be much longer than 4 or 5 minutes each. This is an awesome unit and I couldn't be happier.

No results yet
This Scienlodic High Power 9 LEDs Red Infrared Light Therapy is an interesting concept, but I’m not sold on it actually doing any of the things that it claims to do. I have used this quite a few times now for various parts of the body for things that it claims to work on. And honestly I can not say that I have seen or felt any results. As far as the quality of the device itself, it seams ok. I expected a bit more for the price point, it does feel a bit cheap. I’m going with 3 stars and will update accordingly depending on if I actually see any results for anything.

Very well-built!
The first thing I noticed about this product was how well-built it is. It is very sturdy! The lights are extremely bright, so try not to look directly at them. I can certainly feel the light heating up my skin, which is a good sign that it is also powerful. I tried two other products like this one that I returned quickly because I couldn’t even feel a difference on my skin. This is the first one that I feel actually does it’s intended job properly. Recommended!
