This Accuratic watch winder will rotate your automatic watch to set direction and set Turns Per Day (TPD) to keep it wound. It has five different TPD settings: 650, 900, 1200, 1500 and 1800. It rotates clockwise counter-clockwise, or alternates in between. The winder will repeat its cycle every hour. You can attach unlimited number of units together with patented corner connectors sold separately, and they can share power from one AC adapter. (see photos). Easy to use and set functions with bright digital LCD display: •TPD: Indicates to number of Turns Per Day. •MODE: Indicates to rotation direction. •On and Off button. Electric power (AC Adapter included), or two C size batteries (not included). •Loaded with Japanese Mabuchi motor. Operation: 1. Pull watch holder out of turntable drum. 2. Wrap your watch around it and place it back. 3. Plug the AC adapter to the wall outlet and the other end to the back of the watch winder. 4. Press TPD button to select desired Turns Per Day 650, 900, 1200, 1500 or 1800 TPD. 5. Press MODE button to select desired rotation direction Clockwise, Counter-Clockwise, or Alternate. 6. Press ON button to turn the watch winder On or Off. Note: When you want to operate the unit with batteries turn the switch to BAT on the back of the unit, it is recommended that you take the batteries out when unit is used with AC power adapter. Important: This unit has an hourly cycle; it will rotate certain minutes of the hour and rest remaining minutes of the hour. If you set it at 650 TPD it will rotate about 3.5 minutes and rest 56.5 minutes, it will restart next hour again by itself, and rotate another 3.5 minutes and rest for 56.5 minutes and so on. 900 TPD rotates about 5 minutes and rest 55 minutes per hour. 1200 TPD rotates about 6.5 minutes and rest 53.5 minutes per hour. 1500 TPD rotates about 9 minutes and rest 51 minutes per hour. 1800 TPD rotates about 10.5 minutes and rest 49.5 minutes per hour.

Poor Quality Control
I have bought two of these winders. The first one works well with no issues. The second makes a faint thumping noise, which I think is a result of the front piece being loose. I have tried to contact the seller twice via email and get no response.

Best used for watches under 160 grams and this will give you GREAT performance and value
I read a lot of reviews on various cheap winders. If you're trying to stay under a few hundred dollars for a single unit this is the best choice. The plastic case looks better in photos but it does the job and the various settings are required for different watches. The LCD display and the buttons are much better quality than I expected. The watch holster is also a very clever design and is spring loaded to put tension on most sized watches. I have an 8.25 inch wrist and this holds my watches in place nicely.REGARDING THE CLUNKING - It's b.s. The clunking only happens when I put in my Rolex Deep Sea. This thing weighs 230 grams or more depending on the links and diver extension installed. And the carriage that holds the watch cannot be made to fit into it's cup with laser precision or otherwise you would be there all day trying to align the parts. There has to be a mm or two of free play so you can slide in the carriage with ease. When I removed this watch and put on my ceramic Submariner, which is about 175 grams, the clunking noise was 98% gone. And when I put on my Milgauss, which is 160 grams, it's totally silent.Almost all watches, even massive 44mm swiss watches, don't weigh as much as Rolex, so as long as you're under 150 grams, which is still very very substantial, this little box operates beautifully. None of my pieces are overwound and I don't have to keep setting the time and date and wearing out my crown, stem, pinion, gaskets, etc which will cost me a heck of a lot more to replace than these winders will.If you're on the fence, I say do it. These are on eBay for $67 and up. This is a great price with free shipping.

Not as advertised! BUYER BEWARE!!!
Do not buy this item!!! The watch winder does not work as advertised. I turned it on just before going on vacation and when I came back the watch winder stopped working the next day. I know this because the date on my watch only moved 1 day. It's cheaply made. BEWARE!

What Customer Service?
I received the winder and it failed the next day. I sent an email to Accuratic at their website and also called them. It has been more than a couple of weeks since that time and no one had given me the courtesy of of even an acknowledgement. In the interim, I decided to take it apart and found that the motor mounting screws had come loose. This was easily fixed. I did buy another one for my other watch and this time, opened the device to make sure it was mechanically sound. It was but the display was missing a screw. It did not affect the functioning of the unit but did point to poor quality control. If you buy one, you may to loosen the screws which hold the side plates to prevent them from prematurely cracking at the screw holes.Pros: Does what it is supposed to do. It runs every hour; about 7 seconds per rotation; 28-27 rotations each time for the 650 turns-per-day setting. It is quiet and the manufacturer did supply a little tube of oil to lubricate the rollers. The winder uses an electric motor made by Mabuchi which has a reputation for making good quality motors. That was a pleasant surprise.Cons: Poor quality control. Non-existent customer service. If you have a warranty issue like I had, then you have a problem.Should you buy it? Only if you are willing to risk the fact that if you have a warranty issue, you may end up having to fix the winder yourself or putting it in the trash.

good value for the money
I got a single accuratic a month ago to see if it would meet all my needs with out falling apart in the first month before expanding. What i was looking for:1. consistent on / off 2. stylish 3. battery options 4. quiet motor 5. budget friendly 6. multiple rotations and multiple TPD 7. was not made of some terrible faux woodPros:the price is fairthe device classy enough / sleek enough to leave in plain sitecompared to my diplomat, the motor is quiet (you can barely hear it if you listen for it specifically).the lcd screen is nice and the settings are intuitiveCons:It is definitely made of plastic so it looks a lot nicer than it feels .the lcd screen would be improved if you could opt to keep it on all the time vs having it fade after 10 secondsIt can be a bit difficult to get the the turntable to click into the machine with my larger watch...while this can be annoying, i've never not been able to get it to click in.Bottom line, I just bought a second one and (a $10 connector). I hate my diplomat and have been looking to replace it and the accuratic will be my choice until my watch collection expands and warrants Wolf or Orbita winderUPDATE:Since I wrote this, I've received and combined two of these into one and they are both still working as expected and look really good in my office. I like the look and options on this thing and recommend the product until your collections warrants a much more serious winder. You get what you pay for but it works and looks stylish for sure--i don't have crazy expectations for these and don't expect to get more than 2 or 3 years of life out of the Accuratic product
