This review applies to the UM-151S red gel-grip rollerballs, as there seems to be a mush-mash of options covered by the same review process.The gel grip gives more purchases than a cheap shiny plastic body, I like the feel of these pens in my hand as they are well balanced.The cap has a *very* firm click as it locks into place, so is unlikely to fall off or get lost in a bag or whatever.The pigment gel ink and stainless steel tip combination works well to produce a consistent and non-scratchy flow when writing.I usually prefer a finer nib/tip/ball to be honest, but as you can see from my attached photo the 0.7mm one of these pens isn't exactly thick or clumsy. I couldn't find any 0.5mm tip red pens that matched these for value, so here we are.Great value, and this box of 12 will almost certainly see me through until this time next year I reckon. Shame I can't find a red Parker 'quink' rollerball refill though, as I'd rather keep a single pen and just refill rather than buy disposables - but hey ho...

I just love these pens and am so disappointed when I have to write with anything else that I keep one of these in most rooms in the house. As with all pens, some seem to disappear occasionally (my wife is my favourite suspect!), so I buy a box full every couple of years to ensure a continuous supply. These pens are just superb!

I am a Mixed Media Artist and use this pen in so many projects. It is lightweight and the ink is a beautiful dark black. The fine tip is small enough to use in detailed spaces and I would recommend them to anyone who does any kind of pen and pencil art. They are water-soluble so I can make them bleed in my artworks. They arrived early and quickly and would definitely order from this seller again.

Nice pens but very low ink levels inside! Went through a whole 5 pack in a few days of studying! Ridiculous waste of plastic and must be a design fault in this pack as have purchased lots of times before and not had to replace so fast!!

These pens work, but I was disappointed tol see that the ink sometimes stops coming out smoothly, as if it were running out. It is easily fixable (by scribbling somewhere for a bit) but I'm not sure I'd order these again. I do generally like the gel in as it is thicker and smoother to write with than a normal ballpoint pen.

I've been using these pens for years, these are the cheapest price I've found yet. They are lovely to use and have never let me down. I recommend them to anyone and friends who borrow them never return them, which is always a good sign !

Update after attempting to use these pens for the last 2 weeks. They suck!!! They scratch the paper if not held vertically, and the ink is too thick, it makes it look messy and also smears.Comfy, but a bad angle for writing. If you dont hold the pen very vertical it can make a scratchy feeling with the edge of the pen nib.. not one for me! It also is too loose with the rollerball. The ink is also too wet and thick..! It was not what i was hoping for really.

Have come to love these pens. I use black, blue and red ones regularly for note taking. I love the feel, the flow in the way they write and they last really well. This is a great price too: a box of each colour and I am stocked up for a long, long while. Very happy.
