This is the tenth book in the Savage Kings mcg south Carolina series. It's a fast-paced and standalone book that will keep you engaged from start to finish. Warning: this book does end on a cliffhanger! There's action, adventure, drama, danger, suspense twist/turns, enemies, survival, intrigue, mystery/secrets, surprises, family, friends/friendships, anger, fear, pain, conflict, resolution, confusion, confidence, strength, courage, trust, truths, stubbornness, struggles, protection, kidnapping, tension, arrogance, doubts, turmoil (emotional), annoyance, complications, lies, regrets, threats, rivalry/rivals, hatred, possessiveness, heartbreak, violence, abuse (physically, emotionally, mentally, verbally), betrayal, healing, revenge/vengeance, forgiveness, frustration, determination, patience, happiness, romance, passion/lust and love.This is a story about three best friends in high school (h, H, H), were the two Hs liked the h but one night everything changed. Wow!! Just to let you know this is a two part book. Conclusion comes in Lucas' book. To say the least it is a power house. It is action packed from the first word. Jake and Lucas were best friends until Lucas and Leigh slept together. Leigh left and Jake and Lucas are prospecting together and only one of them can be patched in. They have to decide. Neither one of them is going to vote for the other. They are still at odds when they stop Leigh from marrying her fiance Kellen. Now they have to figure out how to get the Savage Kings and Leigh off of Kellen's radar.

Jake and Lucas have been at each other throat for four years all because of Leigh she was both of their friends until Lucas slept with her and destroyed all of their friendships. But now Lucas tells Jake she back in town to get married. Jake decided to break up the wedding. While standing outside the church arguing how it do it Leigh comes running out the back door she has decided not to go through with it. Jake and Lucas are going to take her out of there when they hear gun shot from the church. They grab her and get out of there but the nut job that she was to marry keeps all the people in the church hostage. Once they get the MC involved thing start to go more nuts. Like the groom marries Leigh best friend her bridesmaid sends a video of them have sex. Nuts! But thing just get more and more nuts. So enjoy this very good read and see all the things that happen and that are still happening in the next book Lucas!!

Jake and Lucas were friends until competition for their best friends heart broke them appart. Leighton doesn't want to get married to a man she doesn't love and wants to find a way out and she does in her two old friends. Love how things come together for them after shush a long time cant wait for Lucas to come next.

A love triangle that ends in heartbreak brings Jake, Leighton and Luke’s friendship to an end. When they unexpectedly reconnect it made for a second chance, but will the past make it hard for Jake and Leighton to find their HEA? I enjoyed how these trio reconnects, it sets up their relationship filled with drama, danger and a heat level that was meant to be. An entertaining addition to an addicting series and the ending is a good set up for Luke’s story and I can’t wait for it.

This book had all the feels from the very first chapter!! I loved Jake and Leighton‘a story, and I can’t wait to find out what happens with Lucas. This series has it all, and I’m addicted — always wanting more, more, more!

When Lucas sleeps with Leighton he knew how Jake felt about Leighton. The whole situation could have been avoided if Lucas had not let Leigh believe things about Jake. Well anyway she went on with her life, got engaged and when Jake finds out well let's just say he does not want that to happen. Not a bad read look forward to more in the series

Hmm I love this author but this book reads like a teenagers angst and the characters have no real personality. Didn’t like Leighton and the boys bickering was just juvenile for an mc.Not the stories I’ve come to enjoy, so this one didn’t hit the spot at all.

As always a brilliant thoroughly enjoyable read I couldn't put it down can't wait for lucas's story to see what is coming next Jake needed to find out if his heart still belong to his first love it did and he finally gets what his heart desired brilliant

I love Lane Hart, but this one really disappointed I’m afraid. It felt very child-like in its story telling with no depth. I found myself skim reading it to be honest.

Really enjoyed Jake’s story. It was very well written with a storyline to follow in the upcoming books. An excellent read.

I have been with this duo from the start and read every,book. They keep getting better when I thought they were already the best. This is a compelling read. The story follows Jake and his best friend Lucas. They have been friends their entire lives. They both love Leighton and that rivalry caused them not to speak for 4 yrs. Presently, Jake and Lucas are both prospects for the Kings but there is chaos when they take Leigh from Kellen. He’s the man she left at the altar. This story has chaos and grit but there are splashes of humour. There is a massive cliff which I’m not a fan of though. This story is gritty and exciting, sexy and humorous, full of surprises, twists and turns. It also comes with a massive cliffhanger which I’m usually not a fan of though unless the next book is already out.I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
