So dangerous - this exploded as soon as I plugged it in. Luckily no injuries from it, but incredibly frightening.

I was so surprised this actually worked after trying different fly catchers. There is no odor and the bugs are attracted to the light. It seems to catch more little gnats than flies, but it caught those too. No odor. It comes with two pads to put in the plug. Very easy to change out. I will be buying replacement pads. It does emit a blue light that could possibly bother you during the night. It’s in the kitchen and I can see the light all the way in my bedroom. But I just shut the door or put a trashcan in front of it to block it. Just know that it’s a really bright light.

It’s the best product I have bought so far I highly recommend it. Something I did was to change the location of the product, Every two days so wherever I notice lots of fruit flies that’s where I place it.

I wanted to wait a few months to write this review and honestly I wasn't even going to do one. We live in the desert with a turf yard and two dogs and a pool. So naturally the sitting water and dog poop and pee attract flies. We had a bbq recently and the door was left open for a few hours. By the time everyone left there were countless flies in the house. I cleaned the dishes and turned all the lights off downstairs. Leaving only the blue light from this trap. I came back in a few hours and most of the flies were caught. Checked again the next day and every single fly, full grown and baby, were caught in the trap. No smell, no noise and the sticky pads can be used for like 2 months. Highly recommend and will probably put one by each door.

I have several KATCHY devices to catch gnats etc in my home because I have allergic reactions to biting midges. The KATCHY does the most of the bug trapping but where I can’t place a full time KATCHY device, one of these light sticker plugs works GREAT! I have one plugged into each floor, and after 1 week each device has at least 10-15 gnats on it. Will be buying more!

Got a new house plant which brought the gnats with it. Pluged this in near the plants. The photo is after about 1 week. Just ordered another for the other side of the house. Highly recommend!
