Works great
This thing works great with the aeropress and the plastic k-cups of coffee . Makes a really good cup of coffee works so well i purchased another one for my wife and daughter. UPDATE: put a paper circle in the k-cup holder b/4 you add the k-cup….this will trap all the coffee particles and keep them out of your coffee cup

Adapter works well with k cups.
Excellent AeroPress adapter for use with k cups. I just ordered a second one as I use multiple AeroPresses. However, I haven't found a reusable k cup that works with it. I will give it 5 stars, maybe even 10, if I find a reusable k cup that works with it. I want to reduce the use of plastic k cups and also use the coffee from my local roaster. There are some compostable k pods but are only processed by commercial composters. Maybe Planetary Design will design and sell their own reusable k cups or recommend one that works with this adapter.

Be careful!
I used this product twice. It came with no instructions so I watched the product video. I inserted the k-cup properly into the designated spot-it secures with very small taps at the top of the k-cup. I then set the k-cup holder into the base, lining up the tabs designed for that part of the operation. Neither I nor my husband could turn the device into the designated slot of the Aeropress (Aeropress is a great product). I thought that this must be the way it’s supposed to operate. After pouring boiling water into the Aeropress and over this product being rated, I pressed down with the Aeropress. Immediately, boiling water exploded out the side of this product and seriously burned my chest. Several days later, I still have the burn mark. We made a second attempt, but were ready this time and, when the hot water began to squirt out, we stopped. I contacted the seller, who was apologetic, and then returned the product. Lacking instructions for safe use of this product is a problem. Also, at least with the one I purchased, the tabs that should fit into the Aeropress slots simply did not fit. I used the travel Aeropress because that is what was shown in this product’s video.

Great coffee
This makes a great cup of coffee. A little learning curve at first. But once I figured out the order of things ,it works great. You push the disk part into the aeropress tightly first, then attach your kcup to that. Then put the bruTrek cup part on over the kcup.

Not sure it works as described
Just received this item. Followed direction from video & on side of box it came in.Was told from company, the KFee type capsules would work with its & Aeropress.Tried three capsules…used the perforator & seated the capsule like the Kcup. Attached the bottom part to the affixed adapter (on Aeropress). Already removed the foil on bottom of KFee capsule to allow for flow.Started the plunger to allow for 30-60 seconds of pre-wetting. Slowly pressed the plunger with about a one second count on the plunger per move. Very little resistanceIn this process. Finally reached the bottom. Cup was full of minimally colored water. Guess the KFee capsules are a no go!Next, started the same process for both Dunkin’ Donuts & 8 o’clock K cups. A little more resistance with these capsules. You at least had a coffee smell coming from the cup. Used same timing cadence to extract the coffee. For all of the above capsules filled the Aeropress to the 4 level. Coffee flavor was not even close to Keurig brewed cup. This is about an 8 oz. Cup which works fine in the Keurig & the Starbucks Verismo.Have put the Aeropress & the Brutek trestle together to have coffee when camping without the need for ground coffee. Will give the combo a couple of more times. Hope, the K cups will at least provide a reasonable cup of coffee.I hope your experience will be different!

O-ring seal is a tight fit
Wet the o-ring on the top piece to make it a lot easier to attach cylinder. So far works very well

It works but not impressed
Does the job, but there is a bit of leakage, and it’s kind of a hassle to use. Suspect there are better options out there.

A piece of junk. Sorry but true
The media could not be loaded. Leaks and was told by Planetary Design that they would send out a new one. They send me just the rubber O-rings to replace. The leaking did slow down but it still leaks coffee all over the counter when trying to use it. Stick with the normal methods of making Aeropress and save your money. Basically no warranty since Bob @Planetary Design won't return my emails.
