Love that never falters
This is an awesome book, with a strong story line and strong characters . The sizzling, passionate interactions between Kelly and Theodore burned your fingers as you turned the pages. I was disappointed with the final chapter. I felt it rushed without a conclusion.

fun read
A fun read. I enjoyed my time with Theo and Kelly. Will investigate other stories in this series. A great book to enjoy while sunning on the beach.

Meant to be Mine
Quick fast paced romance with twists in turns till we get to the happily ever after. The hesitant hero unwilling to commit but also unwilling to let go.

very good
This was an intersting story about a marriage contract and the conflicting feelings of the couple involved. There are emotional twists and turns that end well. I did not like the epilogue which was not connected to the story at all.

She was always his
This is the story of Kelly and Theo, childhood friends, their fathers betrothed them when they were kids, to settle a land dispute. But Theo wasn't the same when he came home from school, no smiles no teasing it was like their friendship never was. When secrets are revealed Kelly realized Theo may never love her, and they're marriage will be duty only. Great story Thank you ❤️

Friendship turns to Love
I really enjoyed this story line of a childhood friendship and betrothal that blossoms into love. Kelly, the heroine, always loved Theodore, the hero. But based on his fathers cold treatment of him and his mother, he did not want to take the chance of his marriage turning out the same. Thus he fought to keep from honoring the betrothal, until Kelly came to town to force him to honor the contract. The way the women in the story came together to help her win his heart was fun and engaging. Very enjoyable book, although I did not like the epilogue which appeared to be a setup for the next book in the series, and not a much wanted look into Kelly and Theo's life after the wedding. That was disappointing. Because of the epilogue i gave this book a 4 when it could have been a 5.

Infuriating hero
Good writing, but I did not like the hero. His outlook about marriage was way out of proportion with the home life he had. His dad was cold and exacting, but he wasn’t abused, locked in a dungeon, nor did he watch his mother be beaten, etc.I believed that the H and h were once true friends, but I didn’t feel a connection between them as adults. I felt so dang sorry for the heroine.

Well written but dull
This is another book using the overdone theme of "man despises the thought of marriage." It is well written, but the theme IMO has been done to death.

Okay
Kelly arrives in London to track down her wayward fiance. Her family have decided it's time to hold him to the contract arranged when they were children. Despite the fact that Theo has no desire to marry, he is intrigued by Kelly now that she's all grown up.This was a pleasant enough read. Theo was not really to my taste. His behaviour was pretty bad, which made it hard to like him. He's worried about being cold and cruel like his father... so he puts Kelly off by being cold and cruel? The book could be quite slow going in places. It was an okay read. it just didn't really grab my attention.

Light hearted romance
Shame about poor editing and Americanisms. If you set a story in a given time and place take care about modern slang in dialogue and invest in a good, grammatical editorIt has promise and I enjoyed it by and large.

Are they never to marry?
They grew up together and became engaged, but he did not wish to honour the contract. What is a girl to do?

A good start to the series
This is the first time I have read this author and its a good book. The characters were developed well but I felt the hero was a bit of a dunderhead.Kelly was a good character book wise but I felt she could have shown that she won't be taken for a ride.Romance Level: 3/5Steamy Level : detailed lovemaking but no coarse language
