Update.They sent me a new light and it works great. Very bright. Excellent customer service!The light started out great but now only the middle light bar will come on so it’s not very bright anymore.

Used primarily under a mobile home. Good illumination and easy to move it around. It rests on the battery which is not a large enough footprint to keep it from falling over on uneven ground. Having a larger base would be better but like it overall.

I included 3 pics of the light shining on the ceiling. You get basically a line, a spot and a combination of the two. Remarkably, those 20 individual LED lights combine for the spot light. The bar of LEDs makes that line of light. Its bright, but would have preferred a more diffused light. It would have been more useful and would create less shadows. I gave them credit for adding a USB charging port. Nice to be able to charge phones from the B+D 20V battery. Very useful.

So bright and works will my Black and Decker batteries. Last a long time on one battery.

It was a nice light at first. Super super bright. Adjustable stand and brightness level. Very handy. But then after 4 weeks, the top and bottom row of lights stopped working. The middle row still works, but it's not as bright anymore. And it's too late too return it. If it was still working I'd probably buy a 2nd light.

If you have a lot of BD batteries like I did,this is a no brainer. This has three brightness settings and its SUPER bright. It will light up a VERY large area with bright white light. THe head rotates up and down 90 degrees for stationary use. Great for power outages,dark area work,reading,spotlight etc. The batteries last quite a while if you leave it on,but depends on what battery pack you use as to how long.

ALWAYS DISCONNECT BATTERY WHEN LIGHT IS NOT IN USE!I have bought 2 of these lights and they will both kill the battery if you leave it connected.I like the light but discovered that it will continue to draw some power from the battery when turned off and take the battery voltage down so low, that it can't be charged any more. Luckily I discovered a way to save the batteries by connecting the dead battery to a good full battery for a few seconds using paper clips and alligator clips. I put the paperclips in the battery contacts and connect the + to the + and the - to the -. Do this only for a few seconds. It will give the dead battery a charge boost enough so it can be charged again in the regular charger.

I own a handful of Black & Decker 20V tools and I've wanted a cordless work light for years. I was hesitant to buy the B&D light because of it's poor reviews. Then I came across this one and really wanted it but the price seemed a bit steep. After a few months I finally got it and absolutely love it. I've had it less than a week and have used it every single day for various projects around the house that I would have grabbed a AA flashlight or just used my phone flashlight previously. This is so much brighter, has 3 light modes (spot, flood, and both), stands up on it's own and can be angled right where I need it to point and has a handy strap for hanging too. No regerts.
