Overall Good with some minor hiccups -update:- Not as good as I thought
Really like this little robotic vacuum cleaner. Does what its supposed to do and is fun to watch.. Sometimes it wastes its energy going around the same set of lines..Pros:1. Cleans the floor as expected2. Once set the programming works every 24 hrs3. Returns to base4. Mopping functionality is an added bonus which works very well for me in kitchen area.Cons:1. Took some time to program it to run every 24 hours2. Gets stuck on low clearance carpet sometimes. I have 1 area rugs and it goes thru fine on one while on the other it just refuse to move ahead and backs off.3. After the schedule run its not able to find the base and runs out of charge for me to pick it up in the morning and pt it back for charge.Overall will recommend to anyone.Update:12/11/2017After approximately 4 months of use, this stopped working. Now it just keeps going round in a square. The only way to make it work is to use the remote and force it to go around the house which beats the whole purpose of having it. Also, the schedule works sometimes and most of the time it does not. Overall not worth the price at all. Better to get one of the more recognized brands which are now selling almost at the same price as this one. Unfortunately, cannot even return this as its well past the 30 days or return.

Worked for about 9 months....
I've had this for about three weeks now. This Diqee was not my first choice when shopping for a robotic vacuum cleaner. There were a couple of comparable ones with good reviews that cost less. Unfortunately they couldn't be shipped to Hawaii (their loss because they didn't want to listen to my solution.) I was a bit nervous about ordering this one since there were less reviews, but finally took a chance. First of all, I was amazed that this was sent using UPS Second Day Air to Hawaii. Wow, got it in about 3 days--record time. My daughter named it "Robie". Robie works perfectly for a "low end" robot vac. The most impressive part is that yesterday he went for over 2 hours!! On his first day he lasted about 90 minutes and since then has gone longer and longer each time. He gets stuck occasionally, but then turns his vacuum off and tries to find his way out of the situation. I do get annoyed at him sometimes because he'll think he's trapped when he really isn't, but keeps going in the same circle even though there's a way out. Eventually he'll find his way out, but I hate that he's wasting energy. I used the mop once, but since it leaves the floor damp, I can't use it on our wood flooring, just our tile floors. Another plus is that he's thinner than most of the other robot vacs and fits under our low couch. My husband said the floors feel noticeably cleaner now and is happy. (I use houseslippers so can't feel the difference.)BTW, this is a real review. Some reviews on Amazon are questionable because when you click on the name you see they've only reviewed 1-2 items or that everything they've reviewed are 5 stars.UPDATE 7/4/17---Still loving our Diqee! He goes for almost 2.5 hours on a full charge!I wanted to warn buyers to TURN OFF THE BUTTON ON THE BOTTOM if you charge your vac and don't plan to use him for a while. I had charged him fully and used him about 3 days later without knowing about the power button underneath, and he ran for less than a half hour and ran out of charge. Since then, I turn off the button after charging and he's fine when I do use him again.UPDATE: "Robie" has a problem and I can't get a response. It's well under a year and either there's a sensor issue or a wheel issue because he gets stuck whenever I select AUTO or PERIMETER. He can only operate manually (what's the sense in that?!) or set on CIRCULAR. I tried cleaning the wheels (OMG I couldn't believe how much hair was stuck in the wheels!!) but that didn't solve it. Very sad.

Basic Robot Vacuum
This is a well-designed basic robotic vacuum from what I can tell. The Diqee A3 was my first trial with one of these for our home, and I am pretty much comparing it to the Neato brand that my family members bought before Neato jumped their prices up to iRobot level. First the great standout parts about the Diqee A3:1) It is pretty quiet for a vacuum that can rarely be heard outside of the room it is cleaning.2) Really fast on movement compared to many robotic vacuums I have seen.3) Has great suction power that will ramp up if dirty areas are detected around the vacuum opening.4) There is a port on the vacuum where you can plug into directly if you don't want to use the base (or it breaks). The dirt bin is always full when finished with a cycle, and at certain times will become full about half-way in due to the suction power (we have 3 dogs and cats). I liked that it rarely bumped into things, but there is a bad side to that I will mention below. The shorter height on this thing allows it to go under items that most cannot, which is great! The two spinners on the outside edges are better compared to other robots as it uses 5 legs compared to the standard 3 to get more dirt easier. The dirt bin is super easy to pull out and open, which also contains 3 filters to prevent feedback into the air. I also like the pretty blue color he has on top.The bad: it is too sensitive when detecting objects, which causes the robot to get "stuck". Many times it would sense the transition of my floors as an obstruction and reverse to clean the same area over and over again. Also, it would get into a small area between two objects and go back and forth for minutes on end without rescuing itself. Another issue is that unless the dock is in a central area and/or in a wide open space without anything around it, it would not find the dock in time. I had to move the charger into the center area of our house with nothing around it to get the robot to dock most of the time. Even when it does dock, it would hit the charger "forcefully" to knock it back some. Forget using the corner setup of the charger as per the directions since that never seemed to work. The charger is a touch one, so it will not have to climb onto anything. As far as the mop part goes, I have not used it yet and my wife is hesitant about the quality it can provide. The directions are sparse and poorly written by a Chinese person from what I can tell. Like the directions mention Wifi and other items, but nothing tells you how to access them or make them work. I see nothing about this resuming after charging, as it appears to turn off after charge is complete. The company was nice enough to include every kind of plug adapter depending on your locale, but it makes the plug stand out more and sags a bit in US ports. Lastly, I worry about finding replacement parts for this robot as it is not a US brand that is popular. It does provide you a backup set of side spinners and mop pad though. If you have a medium-sized house or small rooms to clean often, this will work. Just don't expect it to clean more than a few rooms on a charge, and prepare to save it at times from its own stupidity. I guess I just expect more from a $199 robot vacuum, but instead it feels more like a $99 to $149 item. Of course, I don't want to spend $400 to $1,000 on a "smarter" vacuum either.

Great machine!
This is our first owned robotic vacuum cleaner. The named brands are pretty expensive. This brand and model was much less than other leading compeditors but had a good rating with many ratings being recorded. We only have had this a few weeks but it appears to be functioning as advertised. We use it on our hardwood floors. Amazing how much dust you don't really see which this thing picks up. So far, for the price, we are impressed. Highly recommend.
