Wireless charging works great with will receiver add on for my LG Nexus 5x. The side USB ports are a nice touch. The stock photos don't show it but this thing uses a standard removable 2 wire cord, like what a DVD player or receiver might use. This is easily replaceable if needed. It also means you don't need an external USB wall wart, which saves some money over other charging pads.I ran an app to measure charging current. I don't know how accurate it is but it showed the 700 ma for wireless, 1100 ma for the two 1 amp USB ports, and 1500 ma for the 2.5 amp USB port. This is about right, the 2.5 amp port might put out 2.5 amps if my phone could take it. My phone charges completely over wireless overnight which is all I care about.The only reason I am knocking off one star is because the wireless charging does not work with the phone propped up on the stand. In truth I didn't think it would work but the stock photos made it look like it might. So when wirelessly charging, the phone must be laying down.

My unit does it wirelessly charge anything. May have received a defective unit but not even when something is out of the case and in as direct contact as possible. The side USB ports work but I mean... something has to work on it I suppose

This charger is not super fast which is why we give it 4 stars instead of 5, but it works well. You can prop your phone up to watch videos (not to charge), or lay it down to charge. You have to make sure you see the charging symbol pictured on the left to know it's charging...be careful not to just set it down and assume it's charging, watch for the symbol first. You can also use the 3 USB ports simultaneously. Also make sure to verify your phone has a wireless charging capability. My phone does not, but my husband's does and they are both Samsungs, but mine is older.

This product worked fine for 7 months. Then one day i notice a smell of hot wires. Now it will not charge my samsung s8, but it will charge my sons s6. But I don't trust it to not burn my house down.

I thought that the flat charger was for a smartphone but does not work with my LG5.. The rest of the USB are ok..

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  So I have a couple of devices that do wireless charging, but most of my devices do not. That is what makes this so great. It is not just a single wireless charger. Another thing I really like is the ability to prop up my phone using the built in stand. I use my phone for a clock at night and previously I would just angle it up and lean it against something but it would continually fall; this makes it nice so that it does not fall.Charging works well. It has one port for fast charging. The charger also prevents overcharging so hopefully that will extend the life of my batteries a bit. One thing of note; this does not come with any charging cables, so if you don't already have a billion cables lying around the home, that is something you will want to consider.
