I bought for an 18 month old grandchild. I was concerned that it might be too tricky to "push" these together or connect them for developing hands/fingers. But after a few tries, she make it all work. She loves to pull them becuase it makes a fun sound and they connect/disconnect easily. Very entertaining. As she's gotten older, she can now make shapes with them. A great, lightweight toy for toddlers which is inexpensive.
