Molten MS240-3 Light Touch Volleyball, Red/White/Blue

12 year old definitely thinks its a little lighter than other balls we have, feels its easier to serve. Takes a lot of outdoor abuse, a few areas the stitching is a little frayed, but otherwise fine.That said, there are a lot of "soft touch" balls on the market, this one doesn't seem anything special unless the weight is really important. It maybe gives a slight confidence boost to a beginner, but very quickly it won't matter much as they develop proper technique.

My 10-year old has been taking volleyball lessons. I got this ball as a surprise to help her practice outside class. She loves this Molten ball!—Beautiful, light, great for a kid her age. The ball needs to be inflated—I also purchased an air pump and it worked out perfectly. My only issue and the reason for the 4 stars is that I purposely searched for a high quality volleyball MADE IN THE USA—all the information about Molten says that it is an American company but this specific ball is MADE IN CHINA—-while I am not going to return the ball, I would have really preferred a volleyball made in the USA.

Bought this for my 6 year old grandson and he liked practicing with it. Unfortunately, he mis-hit a ball and it went into an area with a cactus. Sure enough, one needle pierced it! I should have made a note of where it was, but I wasn't sure it actually punctured the ball enough to make it lose air. It did so then I tried to find the hole figuring I could patch it. When i pumped it up and put it in water I was shocked to see bubbles coming out of all the seams! Don't understand how that is possible as it held air before the puncture. Notified the company, but never heard back from them!?!?

This ball will not make your kid a better player. It needs to be accompanied by good instruction and well supervised practice.

We use this ball as a soccer ball for a large dog with a soft bite/jaw. It’s light enough that he can hit it with his nose and strong enough to not get ripped apart.

Es una bola muy buena para uso doméstico, playa y hasta para juegos. Muy buena.

If you expect this ball to come inflated, it won’t and what sucks is if you didn’t see the label that said 12 and under and you’re older than this isn’t very fun. Also I feel as if we should’ve gotten a disclaimer that thill ball would come with no air and if you don’t have anything to put air into this ball then it’s pointless and a waste of money. I only liked the colors but not even sure if this is a good ball.

Lo compré para mi mujer que es maestra de secundaria, es un éxito en los juegos durante el recreo. No lástima y ha durado.
