Easy to use for beginners and beautiful
I am so pleased with the results of these molds. I am a complete beginner at using concrete and I may be hooked. I read reviews and honestly didn’t expect much because this was literally the first bag of concrete I’ve ever mixed. I used quikcrete sand topping mix and the brown liquid quikcrete dye. I used Crisco to lubricate the molds just because I had some, and it came out very cleanly. I poured a little concrete in first and made sure I got all the air bubbles out, then filled it the rest of the way and used a sander to vibrate it. Covered for 24 hours and it slipped right out. Looks fantastic and is exactly what I was looking for. Great size, not too big so each plank is easy to move, but definitely large enough to really look like an old wooden plank. Love it!

Impressed
This is the first review I've ever written on Amazon. Simply because I was so pleased with this product. First off I know this is going to seem like a small thing because they are made of industrial-grade plastic but they were packaged in a sturdy hard cardboard box with Styrofoam in between them so there was no chance they were going to get damaged on the way here. It's never good when you get something from Amazon and the packaging was so crappy that it got damaged on the way.Secondly it's nice when you order something from Amazon and it is exactly what you were expecting! The level of detail in the wood grain is excellent as well.I've been using these for 2 days now I've learned a couple things so I thought I'd share.First off, you got to go with quick-setting concrete because waiting for normal concrete especially if you live in a humid climate like I do is a good way to waste a lot of time. HahaSecond, Greasing the mold with something like cooking spray or olive oil makes them slip out with absolutely no effort at all.Third, after you've poured the concrete in the mold shaking them, tapping them on the ground or what I've done, put them on a shop table and tap the bottom of the table with a hammer to get the bubbles out.But the main reason I decided to do a review. Is because there's not many on this product. It is what they say it is and it works great.

Makes a nice sturdy wood like paver
OK this is the inside scoop, I have made about 60 pavers so far and have paved the ground on the west side of my house. don't use the least expensive ready mix bag, you need a mix with a little more Portland cement for a nice finish. The key is to fill the mold half to two thirds full, work the mix into the mold, pick up the mold and slosh the mix side to side and end to end for about 5 seconds each to release air bubbles from the face of the paver, very important for best quality then fill the rest of the way and smooth flat with a strait edge and place on a level surface. Always, Always use a release agent, I paint motor oil on mine and the pavers fall right out. It is important to lightly clean your molds between batches, I use Simple Green. if you have a lot of pavers to make buy more molds, I bought two sets for four in total, I may buy more in the future. I mix my concrete in a five gallon bucket and a two thirds full bucket will satisfy two molds . Mix your concrete a little wet so the mix will flow out, if you mix it to wet and runny your paver will be weak and may crack in the mold. Buy the way acid stain works great, I take a spray bottle pump sprayer and put it right in the quart bottle the acid stain comes in, two coats and it looks great! one more thing the sides of the paver may come out tapered and not square, this will produce large gaps if placing your pavers side by side . A four inch angle grinder with a diamond blade is great for correcting this and for cutting the paver for fit, you can get the grinder and diamond blade from Harbor Freight at a good price. Good Luck!

Rail Road Ties - Almost!
A economical solution to provide a more rustic looking pathway to complement our wooded backyard. The mold is rigid and hard, and looks like it will be durable throughout many castings. The item shipped close to a week from ordering.I particularly like the color of stains in the picture, and I am thinking of using it to ring around a huge pine tree in the front yard - simple, decorative, no fuss!

Heavy duty molds
I ordered 2 sets and have made a total of 6 so far and they are turning out nice. I wasnt happy when I opened the package and found the same pattern on all 4 molds. The seller did refund 50% and were quick to respond after I messaged them. I'd like to order more but don't want to end up with the same pattern I already have. The quality of these is good though

Good forms
The molds are working great. You definitely want to use some sort of release agent like WD40 or some sort of cooking spray. Coat it well and wipe down the excess. This make the casts come out easier and keeps the forms clean. The only thing I can gripe about is the forms are a little flimsy.the side bow out a little when forms are full. Be sure to set them in a flat well supported location. Hoping to get about 50 pavers done but don’t know if they will last that long, I will just have to be careful.

Great product
They are great! We colored them but to add depth and to make them realistic we feathered on a little paint. The only thing i would recommend to the seller is some instructions especially what kind of cement to use and some tips on how to get out bubbles would have been included. We had to google everything and go by trial and error.
