Heeku Magnetic Screen Door with mesh Curtain for Sliding Glass Door&French Doors, Easy DIY and Hands-Free (Size 36"x80")

I have been ordering these types of screens from another company for 15+ years, I typically get a new one every couple of years as they always last great through the spring, summer and fall season. . .I decided to try a different brand this year because the other company has billed me twice for the last 2 orders and it took literally weeks to get things straightened out. . .first time I considered it a simple error. . .2nd time was unacceptable. I found this one through an online search and since I'm a Prime member wanted to give it a try. This one went up easily. . .I LOVE the full magnetic closure so much better than my other one BUT. . .after a week of simply going in and out it tore away from the top just enough to cause it not to close on it's own. I thought it might just be a fluke and was going to order another since the price was reasonable BUT they have almost doubled the price since my purchase last month (which happens a lot on Amazon) so I opted not to and will look for an alternate somewhere else. I would recommend trying another brand that has the full Velcro for the frame like this one AND the full magnetic closure but I'll be looking for one that might have better reinforcement at the top. This one would be perfect and I would have been happy to give it an outstanding review had it lasted through at least a few months!

First: this is a little bigger for a 36” door. I know the listing says it is 38” but I thought the slack would be taken up on each side. I was wrong. This screen appears to have to be mounted outside the door from, not inside the frame. So, since I have a storm door outside it doesn’t work. I wanted one (like I had before) that mounted inside the door frame allowing the storm door and inner door to close. (I only use this when I can keep the doors open and the dogs can go in and out) Also: this hangs using thumbtacks NOT a rod. Again: the previous screen I had used a rod and the Velcro on the sides kept it in place. Anyway; I ended up giving this to my brother in law who can mount it outside and is ok with using thumbtacks and getting something for nothing.

Definitely works and pretty easy to install but make sure you align the adhesive to the door trim so that it's not pulled too much to either side or it won't close correctly. I had to undo a small piece and I used spray adhesive on a small area and the small tacks that came with it for reenforcement. Dog already knows how to come in and out of the house through it so that's a plus.

Description clearly states, 36" X 80"... actually screen we received was 38" X 80" ... 2 inches too wide for our door so I am returning it. Otherwise the quality seems fine. I think the seller could be more accurate with their advertised measurements.Update. We initially had a problem with the fit of this screen. Amazon seller Heaku was extremely quick to contact us and present a generous solution. A replacement screen was sent and it is perfect. We very much appreciate the fast service and quality product. We will be happy to recommend this screen and will certainly purchase more in the future!!

The dimensions were as advertised. I bought a 36" x 80". The opening of my door is only ~34", but this was ideal. My husband and I affixed it to the outer edges. After disagreeing a few times where we should put it, we ended up sticking and re-sticking three times! The adhesive is VERY effective.In case the adhesive begins to give, there are metal tacks included, but we haven't used them.Like the instructions state, it's desirable to affix the door tightly, but not so tight that the magnets can't reach each other. Also, my dogs use it like a dog door.

Ordered the product based on the measurements in the order description. When the item arrived it was 3” larger than specified and per the seller it is to “accommodate” all sizes of frames. I have brick around my door frame so it has to be exact other wise the material bunches up and the whole system doesn’t work. I’ve contacted the seller with no resolution so i suppose I just gave them $21 for nothing. Terrible customer service and inaccurate product information equals a worthless product.

I never leave a review for anything. Really not my style and I believe differences in opinion, culture, and background influence "Likes" and "Dislikes".I am enjoying the Screen Door very much. Does a great job of keeping the bugs out but the best thing is it shuts so easy and no more slamming. And It's been up for 15 minutes and the dogs are using it already. We have an old specially made door with no screen and a regular screen door won't fit. No problem with this one and we were able to put it up in only a few minutes. There is only one problem we have and that is that our door is metallic and sometimes the screen will stick to it. Very simple to move it and walla... the screen is again shut. I highly recommend this product and would buy it again if I need screens on any other doors in my home.It's a perfect solution for our open door policy so the dogs can go in and out of their fenced yard. We live in the country and get a beautiful breeze coming through our house. This was a cheaper alternative than buying a screen door and less time consuming and installing one. This product was easy to install and works great. We had get good airflow and it keeps the bugs out.I would definitely recommend this product. Great value for the price and shipping was fast!
