PAC-MAN MUSEUM + - Nintendo Switch

My family and I are suckers for legacy collections. This one is top notch. There are ton of great games to play. A few of which I had never played. Pacman Battle Royale is our favorite new family party game. You get to set up a virtual arcade which my son has enjoyed. Customizable, Animal Crossing style. My only complaint is there is no online play. We own multiple systems and it would have been a lot fun for each of us to play on our own system. Oh well. 🤷🏻‍♂️ It's still a lot of fun!

This is the best collection of Pac Man games there are a lot of unlockables to customize the "lobby" which is an arcade from wallpapers, statues, characters, arcade cabinets, and the background music. The games are fun especially the arcade ones, some people have claimed that the emulation for some of the games suffer from input lag, but I haven't experienced any(this was probably fixed in an update). I recommend this for anyone interested in playing the yellow balls games or for hardcore Pacman fans.

I love the game, but wish it had Ms. Pac-Man too!

If you're reading this review, chances are you are a classic games fan, and you're probably familiar with a number of Pac-Man games.I bought this collection mainly because it has Super Pac-Man, which has had very few home ports compared to the other Pac-Man games, and Super Pac-Man alone almost justifies the purchase of this collection. I also like Pac-Mania, although it's something of an acquired taste with its weird 3D graphics and scrolling maze.Other strong games in the collection are the "arrangement" version of Pac-Man, the first iteration of Pac-Man championship edition, Pac-Man 256, and of course the original Pac-Man. Pac-Land is an interesting game as well - a side-scrolling platform game that actually predates Super Mario Brothers. Pac-Land was notorious as an arcade release since there are certain parts of the game where you are almost destined to lose lives until you figure out what to do, and so it works much better as a home console game.It's also fun to build your arcade, arranging the various cabinets and decorations as you like.There are some negatives, however. i found it odd that you cannot adjust the settings of the games (speed, number of lives, etc.), the arcade gets a little claustrophobic as you build it out, and many of the games are more like curiosities as opposed to titles you will visit again and again. Pac and Pal is bizarre, Pac in Time is borderline unplayable, and Pac N Roll is almost like Pac-Man meets Katamari Damacy; that's fine, but why not just play Katamari if you feel like rolling around.Rather than having oddball games, it would be nice to have Ms. Pac-Man, or lesser-known arcade titles like Jr. Pac-Man, Baby Pac-Man, and Pac-Man Plus in the collection, although since those titles were developed by Midway, I'm sure that licensing arrangements would be problematic.

At $30, this collection of 14 Pac-Man titles is practically a steal! Almost every title is a blast and there are hundreds of unlockables and achievements that'll make you want to play these games again and again.
