It worked very well for a few days, but the one I used for the pepper started to run slower and slower until it stopped completely, I think the engine does not have the strength to break the peppers, the salt one works perfect.

I saw a set of electric grinders at work and decided I must have my own. These take 6 AAA batteries each but they seem to last quite a while. Very nice, high quality grinders. I'm thrilled with my purchase!

This product description is inaccurate. The lighting this is NOT a LED but an incandescent bulb. The light housing can fill up with debris from the salt or pepper causing the light to over heat and burn out. If this was a LED it would not happen. My husband, who is an electrical engineer, dismantled it to see if he could get the light to work. This was when he notice it was not an LED. It is very disappointing. Also it does struggle to grind pepper. It does grind it but at a much slower rate than the salt. Amazon customer service was excellent on this issue and refunded us. Do not buy this product because it is not worth your money.

Was good while it lasted but got moisture in the salt and broke

Red these very happy easy to operate and fill with water ur spices of choice. I've had 2 strokes was very surprised that I was able to operate.I am extremely happy with my purchase. Thank you AMAZON and Vendors,

Both grinders work well with Salt however, neither work well with peppercorn. I used 4 different types of peppercorns with no prevail. I purchased these just over a year ago and I had to go back to my old pepper grinder. Very disappointing for the price i paid.

I am sorry to say this purchase did not meet expectations. My main objection is that the pepper mill will only grate a fine grind and that means I need another mill for most of my pepper grinding. The next problem is that the batteries do not last very long, one,and the power output is poor, 2.
