Nuvo H20 ND-S2416C Studio Replacement Cartridge

I have county water which is "hard". I saw the filter on This Old House , read up on it and decided to give it a try. My son and I installed the filter in about an hour. I've had no problems at all with it. I read reviews where people claim their water turned blue for awhile, I had no such problem, no leakage, no problem at all.My water tastes better and hopefully my appliances will last longer because of it.

They were replacement filters for water softener system. They are easy to replace and cost was very reasonable.

Easy Peasy. This system is so much easier than hauling salt and much cheaper. We have this system in our vacation home and the wash cloths there after a shower are much softer than the ones at home with the much more expensive soft water system that we have to haul all that salt for and it's a new one too uses less salt then previously but the salt is still heavy. I love this filtering system much more.

It does reduce hard water as I tested with a GPG hard water kit. However, it has not dramatically reduced hard water stains as they are still somewhat present. My guess is results depends on actual water hardness. So, if your at extreme low end or high end you might not notice much difference.My problem was with leaking head unit. I had to get it replaced and it still leaks from the top (in middle where screw is) sometimes

Nuvo is a big help here in the remote hills where I have my own well. My water is very very hard and Nuvo has helped to lessen the white crust on faucets and fixtures. Not a softener but is still awesome!

Easy to install

definitely have less calcium deposits in my pots and coffee maker but it's not water softener. Which I realized from description

Easy to use, install or replace. Water looks and smells and taste better. Dishes and clothes come out cleaner. Product is simple and effective. Definitely get one of these for your house
