merhon is a great brand! so i was a little let down by the performance of this product. lacked consistency, pigment, and precision

I wanted my Halloween makeup to really last and not melt in my face a couple of hours later and this did the trick!

I paired this pencil with a cream base (also from Mehron.) I did end up adding a bit of darker red eyeshadow over top to help set the color. I figured that I was a sewer clown, it was okay if I looked a bit smudged and disheveled haha.Regardless, it stayed on for over 12+ hours while I crawled all over an abandoned prison with my friends. I'm very pleased with this brand and plan to use it again in the future. It blends very well but ultimately does smudge easily before you set it. And at the end of the night, it came off just fine with a makeup wipe.P.S. I got pulled over while looking like this because my headlight was out.

I wish it could be more red because it's kind of orange but either way it's beautiful

Easily smudged. If I were to wear this somewhere where I’d be sweating, it’d definitely look like I have bright red raccoon eyes. BUT! The color is very vivid, it’s easy to apply, and it doesn’t burn my eyes.

You can't go wrong with Mehron liners! They are creamy but very durable and don't break like the drug store lines - for just a few dollars more. Mehron is one of the leading theatrical lines, and it is for good reason. They produce (for the most part) superior products. Most of their products I absolutely love.This is a bold liner for evening makeup, but it is used by professional makeup artists for TV, Film and Print work. Mehron is a cosmetic line all professional makeups artist have in their kits, and the price is much less than comparable couture lines. Personally, I think it is better. If you buy this liner you will know why. I highly recommend it!! And, you can use it as a lip or eye liner.Tip: You have to buy their sharpener for their pencils. The size is a little bit different than traditional lines, so traditional sharpeners don't work. However, the sharpeners are only about $3.00, so no huge cost there.Happy makeup! Have fun with it.
