Got this for my 6-year old. I had Perler beads when I was a kid. The animals are fun to make and work great. The octopus looks a little funny when it is done, almost like an alien, but the other animals are great. Though the octopus is weird making an alien is fun too. We used the green and yellow beads and made aliens.

My almost-six-year-old son LOVES Perler Beads. He is a typical little boy, and not much holds his attention for very long. But if I give him some beads and a few pegboards, he is occupied for at least an hour!This set was a great addition to our collection. The boards are a sturdy plastic, and we have had no trouble with them, despite a lot of use.

These are very fun but the beads are so hard and at the end you may even need tweezers to drop in the last ones! Really hard for little hands that don't have as much fine motor control. i would recommend for age 8+.

These animal pegboards are a great addition to a Perler Bead collection. My daughter has hours of fun making designs using the octopus, dog and monkey shapes. The boards are durable and stand up to lots of dropping by little hands.

These are so welcome back in my home!!! My children had peeler beads 30 yrs ago. Now my 5 grandchildren are inventing figures now which they have to use their brains&hands so that is good. Yes,they are easy to spill,but easy to sweep up! Hours of fun every day! Thank you for bringing them back better than ever!

The pegboards are okay. I am just disappointed in the packaging labeling. It says 4 but they count the iron paper and instructions as a piece. The ironing paper I can see BUT the instructions. It is misleading to how many pegboards you will be getting.

These are new and fun patterns for the grandkids and makes it easier for the younger ones to make something and be able to recognize the object when done. .

These are good for the little one's that are just starting out and don't understand how to place the beads on regular pegboards to create shapes. The "doggy" & "froggy" were the biggest hit to my surprise (I thought it was going to be the monkey). The one thing I noticed however, each child that came to visit wanted the placement of the eyes to be correct on any figure first, and from there they filled in the rest.
