This thing... just wow!
Our airbnb guest suite is located in a huge, hot and humid workshop, in SW Mississippi. There is a window a/c unit in a 324 sf area. The a/c does help with the humidity level, but this dehumidifier is just amazing! It was raining and 100% humidity outside when this picture was taken. 55% humidity is almost a rare phenomenon in this region of the U.S. I'm very pleased with it's performance, so far.

Good enough for my purposes
Many of the reviews criticize product accuracy. I have no idea if the number displayed on the front of the unit accurately represents the humidity level of the room. I'm not a weather expert nor a tech savvy person. I know this product is easy for me to carry and operate, it seems to pull a LOT of water out of the air, it's quiet, and I'm happy with my purchase. I would buy this again and may do so for other rooms in my house. Is the humidity level right now ACTUALLY 48%? I honestly don't care. If I'm dumping water out regularly, the machine is doing its job. That's all I care about.

Been going almost a year and pulls water like a champ
Works well to pull water out of my office/storage room/basement. I live in a high humid area, and this dehumidifer works like a champ to pull water out. The lights are kinda a distraction however I got used to them. The only 4 star rating is the fan is very loud starting off and after about 5 minutes it gets quieter. So not the best for a bedroom while sleeping due to the sound and lights...but works great in other areas.

Great dehumidifier
It's just under a week now since I got this, and I am very well pleased. Great dehumidification, it pulls 12 ounces of water out of thin air every 24 hrs. (granted, I live in the humid South) with minimal noise. Acceptable footprint, easy controls, and an attractive appearance. With a lower humidity in the house, I was able to turn the thermostat up 4 degrees and still feel comfortable. For fair evaluation, I'm using it in half my home, approximately 2500 sq feet.

"Works"... I guess. Do not recommend.
It works... in the sense that will pull SOME moisture from the air. I've had it almost a month, running constantly, and I've only had to empty it one time, and it wasn't even full.I have a medium sized bedroom, maybe 12x15. In this room I have 4 fish tanks. Walking through the door there is an immediate temperature and humidity difference. The room runs around 72-75°F and around 55-59% RH naturally due to the tanks. The house thermostat is kept at 69 and is right outside this room and it cannot keep up.I purchased this dehumidifier, and from the moment it was plugged in it has hovered around 43-45%. However, 3 independent thermo-hygrometers in different places around the room away from the tanks, one of which is within a foot of the dehumidifier, are reading 55-59% while this machine reads 43%.So, since it has auto-run and will not go lower than 45% that it's pre-set to, it will not continually dehumidify despite the fan continually running. There is no indication of whether or not the machine is actively running the coils, so it runs he fan constantly and only OCCASIONALLY pulls moisture from the air. Nice illusion of it working. And also, the fan on regular (not sleep) mode is ridiculously loud.I want my humidity below 40%, but because of either faulty sensors or poor design, it doesn't properly sense the right humidity and thus, doesn't even actually get the RH below 55%.And as a side note, I didn't realize it had that pre-set of 45% and that was my mistake. However, that doesn't change the fact that this machine doesn't read the room accurately.

Plug n Go no maintenance
This dehumidifier is a no maintenance work horse that does its job very well. You see the results every few days when the water tank fills up with water. You toss out the water, put the empty tank back and let it keep on working. No tiny parts to clean. In fact, I didn’t have to clean it at all all season long. Definitely worth the money and better than those expensive disposable units.

No adjustability. Not strong.
It's okay. They should not be telling me what the 'perfect' humidity level is and then setting the dehumidifier to that level. Ridiculous. I should be able to set when I want the thing to come on and shut off. I have to operate it manually. I will toss this when I find space for a proper machine that I can set. Thankfully, this is not very accurate. It doesn't seem to pull much water out of the air either. It said the humidity was 56 percent twenty minutes ago. Now it says it is 51 but there isn't a drop of water in the tank. Very inaccurate...the humidity in the room is actually 57. It puts out heat also, which would be great in the winter, but its 98 degrees with 57 percent humidity. I didn't realize dehidifiers put out heat. I think it's a solid 3 stars. Not too much to like or dislike about it.

Nice little supplement to the main dehumidifier
I already have a big dehumidifier for my 750 sq ft humidifier that runs 24/7, but it sits in one corner of the room. So, I always felt a little humid near the opposite corner. After adding this little dehumidifier to that corner has helped in maintaining a uniform dryness all throughout the basement. It might be self sufficient for a small room, but a great supplement for a bigger room.
