Rubber-like, not plastic.
I really love the look and quality of these utensils. The only thing to note is that they are more of a flexible, rubber-like material. I expected it to be stiff like plastic, but it isn’t. Not a super big deal, but it does mean that you can’t really stab food with the fork.

One Year Old Learning to Use Utensils
I wish I would have bought two sets and now they're unavailable.Our granddaughter is learning to use utensils at our house.It is so fun to watch and the silicone is soft and the perfect size.
