our inflatable kayak tracks much better now
This is the perfect skeg for our kayak. We do lots of river running at the place closest to us (class one and two, with some shallow areas; also with head winds or side winds that can throw the kayak off course) . We didn’t want to get anything too big that would scrape into many of the shallow areas, but we needed something to help our inflatable kayak track better. This skeg is just perfect. It made a huge difference, and we enjoy the kayak a lot more when we aren’t constantly having to fight to keep it on track. We also wanted something removable, in case we decided to do class threes or runs that require sharper turns (though I’m not sure if we would really need to remove it; I thought the boat turned and handled really well with the skeg in place) We went with marine goop for adhesive. There was another kind of adhesive that got good reviews, but we weren’t sure if the other one could be used for inflatables. It took two doses of the adhesive to get it fully mounted, but after the second round of adhesive, it seems pretty solidly stuck in place. We are very happy with this purchase, and we are enjoying our boat a lot more.

Perfect for Inflatable Paddleboard
I bought these for thrusters to use on an inflatable paddleboard that only had a center fin. I use the paddleboard for shallow rivers with a lot of silt, so I don't like to use the center fin. I needed larger thrusters than are usually on the inflatables so I could straight track, so I tried these. With HH-66 cement, they are perfect.

Fit and worked perfect

Poor adhesion, lost the fin right away
Poor adhesion, lost the fin first time lanching the kayak. Waste of money.
