Saxon Algebra 1/2: An Incremental Development, Test Forms 3rd Edition

We love Saxon math. Be careful when ordering. We use mymathassistant.com and need to match the correct edition of textbook to test booklet or it grades the answers incorrectly.

Lost our first copy for 3 weeks (student wishing it would end up in some fantasy world?) and had to have a replacement immediately. Wish this didn't come in this flimsy paper cover (it seems to be easy to lose and fragile), but as my husband says, this way it's cheaper to buy replacements! My daughter was horrified that after she spent the money to buy this, the first copy would show up the next day. Thankfully it didn't show up for 3 weeks, justifying her investment. At least a little. ;)

It has what I needed to finish my son's curriculum.

I thought there would be a section at the back of the booklet of all the answers, but there isn't. I also purchased the complete answer solutions manual that goes along with the text book, and it also does NOT contain the test booklet answers. So, now I don't know where to look for the answers. So, I just have to work all the problems myself, which is a huge waste of time for this homeschooling mom of 6. I just want to look at the answers, somewhere! Seriously, how many books do I have to buy just to teach my son math?

Very nice! Child understands and uses it everyday. We do a lesson a day which has a good page teaching a new skill, and then it has thirty questions both reviewing and using the new skill! This is awesome. I recommend using one lesson a day. Takes about 45 min to and hour.

I have a hard time finding Saxon sets sold separately. I have twin girls in the same grade so i needed another Test Forms book, but couldn't find it to buy separately, until I looked on Amazon.com. The price was ok. Could have been a little cheaper. But it meets my needs and keeps me from having to buy a whole new full set.

Love Saxon math. Works great to teach my home-schooled kids. My kids were struggling in public school in math and the constant review of all the concept did the trick.

Arrived as expected, and goes along with Saxon Algebra 1/2.
