Zenful - Jasmine + Blackberry, Jasmine Blackberry, 240 Fluid Ounce

We are a big Hint water (from Amazon) and plain water and real fruit infused family. I'm always willing to try a new water. i got the jasmine/blackberry flavor. It had a weird almost soapy taste. i can taste the blackberry too but it's combined with the jasmine, which makes it soapy and flowery and bitter. the taste lingers in your mouth. i had a sip of water and about 5 minutes later, went to take a sip of coffee and my mouth still tasted flowery. i like that it's no calorie. i really do like the blackberry taste. i think if they cut out the flowery jasmine, this might be a hit. i like the shape of the bottles and the label. I made my husband try it and he took one sip and gave it back to me. it was the bitter flowery thing for him too that turned him off. i know some people like jasmine tea and if you do, you will probably like this water. you can definitely taste the jasmine and for me, it's just too weird tasting the yummy blackberry but also tasting soapy. i will drink this water but i don't think i will be buying it again. if they remove the weird combos and just stick to the fruit flavors, i will give it another try. as for right now, not a fan of the flowers in my water...but do like the blackberry.

This is an odd product. It's purported to be flavored water with "trace minerals", though they don't list those minerals on the packaging. The water itself is not great tasting - an odd mixture of flowers and berries. It's light and not sweet, but has an odd aftertaste. There is a listed preservative, which is unpleasant to see. My wife and I didn't like this enough to purchase again, especially at this price.
