Looks and Functions Great
Excellent, smooth shifting gears. I exchanged my entire drivetrain for the latest Claris groupset and converted flats to drops. My bike came with a very strange combo in the OEM drivetrain. I chose these brifters for the newer design and better cable management over Microshift R8s. They are of the usual Shimano quality. This is my training bike and it is a better bike due to these great components. I'm no longer in a hurry to replace it. Shift cable is pre-installed and tongued ferrules are included. Install and adjustment was hassle free.

Great Kit
My bike came with these so when I broke the right shifter I ordered the same kind. Works just as good as the other one. If I break it, I will buy the same kind again. BTW-the break was all on me, not the shifter.

Not worth the price might as well buy used one. My shift came with scratches and dents

Shitty engineering
Cheap parts made of plastic. Have had a problem now with both my left and right shifting mechanisms. Left one had the part that holds the end of the shifting cable get dented because it is made with shitty plastic and now it wont hold right. Right one had the shifting cable go past the plastic hole that holds it and get stuck behind the mechanism. These are NOT made to disassemble, with disassembly requiring special tools. Even when working properly they feel cheap and plasticy, and do not actuate very precisely.
