I really like the look and feel of these but the opening is very tiny and it's really hard to fill them unless it's a liquid or the texture of coarse sand.

Back in 2002 I came across a seller in Hawaii listing very small glass vials with gold & silver caps for DIY Jewelry making... Back then everything was in 25 and 50 vial lots with multiple shaped vials...After a number of years of inactivity I decided to pull my supplies out of storage and start making more jewelry over the winter months... While I still have a few hundred assorted glass vials leftover, I knew I needed more, I went online and unfortunately Mo'Creations website is no longer active so I went to Amazon for more glass & supplies...I ordered 1 set of a dozen of these hourglass vials with chain and after receiving them I ordered (& received) a 2nd set...When I start making the pendants again I'm sure I will be ordering additional vials and will post a video or two...

These are pretty tiny, and even though the listing has the size on it spelling it out for us, I was surprised at exactly how tiny that number is when in your hand. Either way, I've made good use of them by layering colored sands in them. They're beautiful.

I bought these knowing they would be small. But I figured the entire metal part screwed off of the vial. It does not, only a small part of the top comes off. These are good for ashes and glitter and things that size. But nothing bigger. Even if it looks like it would fit in the glass part, the hole to put things in there is much smaller. About half the size.

The loop for the chain to run through is too small. Or the chain it too large. Either way you can not hang the vial from the chain. Pretty much defeats the purpose. Maybe there is another loop missing to connect the 2 parts, but doubt that would hold up very well.

Bought to make craft fair items. Looks great. Can put vial on another chain if desired. Makes a great project for small memory/decorative items. Great value and seems pretty durable, especially for the price.

I GOT THESE TO PUT MOON WATER IN AND I THOUGHT THAT THEY MAY HAVE BEEN A LITTLE LARGER THEN WHAT THEY ARE. SO NOW I HAVE TO ORDER DIFFERENT ONES SO THAT I CAN USE THEM

Perfect for my dog’s ashes, but the lids don’t come off & I'm not sure yet how to get them in this tiny hole. It’s smaller than a plastic ball pinhead. Would still be tricky, but helpful if the lids came off.Edit: Was putting one together today, but I’m going to have to remove the ring at the end to get the chain through the hole.
