the tool itself is sturdy and will work on good terminals...... the terminals that come in the kit are beyond cheap as well as the shrink wrap itself

I do not like the size markings. Wish they were standard American sizes rather than ones I do not understand. Otherwise it works, and saved me money the first few uses by buying this rather than buying finished cables.

crimper works good. ends not so much on larger sizes

When using on wires in the AWG ratings, this unit falls short. I was trying to crimp 6AWG wire into a 6AWG lug. The dies in the device do not provide clean and adequate crimps. Using the recommended die, the crimp barely makes an indent into the lug and going down to the next size in mm, the crimp is too small with parts of the actual crimp extruding out the sides of the dies. Rugged crimper, just wish they would have used AWG dies for the crimps. Most crimpers in this price range have this same flaw.
