I practiced one handed in the water and its easy to use
Knife snaps into the sheath perfectly. I practiced one handed in the water and its easy to use. The knifes edge is not exposed when secured inside the sheath. So its safe and still lightweight. Hooks into my Stohlquist class V PFD very cleanly and its really secure. The dimensions of the clip assembly on the sheath is made perfectly to fit the groves on attachment points on PFD/life jackets. So this knife slid perfectly into the attachment point on my Stohlquist PFD and it will never fall off. The squeeze tabs on the sides of the sheath are secure. Spring is strong but releases easy when depressed on both sides. With practice the knife could actually spring off of the sheath into your hand when the tabs are quickly depressed evenly. It makes for quick reaction in emergency situations. I may add my own lanyard to it just in case I am using it and I drop it in the rapids. Looks great too.

I love the clippy-do-dad sheath-holder-clip thingy that the blade clips into. It clips great to the straps on my PFD. The blade itself seems like it would make a great resource in the right moment. I'll buy another one.
