Have been taking double dose and just had blood work done. Waiting to see if improvement from blood work. Here's praying!Just got results from recent blood work after I having been taking Red Rice Yeast since last check-up. My doctor is very happy with theimprovement in my cholesterol count. I had already given up my wheat bread and eliminated 90% of my sugar intake (some sneaks in when we least expect it), and concentrated on an even healthier diet. My cholesterol dropped 100 points and I am in reach of WNL This is the only change I've made ! am continuing with my eating habits and hoping my next reading will be even lower. After having been on 6 different cholesterol meds over 6 years with no success in lowering my level, it was basically considered familial, but not so sure as I adjusted and eliminated some foods and drinks over a period of time (even diet sodas have artificial sweeteners in them). I am very pleased with this product. Instructions say to take 1/day but I take 2. Will follow-up after my next check-up in about 3-4 months. After all the meds we tried without success and adjusting my diet that I had thought was healthy and getting such good results, I am highly pleased with this product.

After one month, all cholesterol values are improved. Triglycerides and LDL still need a little improvement. Doctor is very pleased with results. No side effects.
