TYR Women's Durafast Elite Scoop Neck Controlfit One Piece Swimsuit

Great fabric, great fit. I paid less for this suit than I would have at annother outlet so the price was great.

For women like me who want a fitness suit that provides a shelf bra (nearly impossible to find) this is a good option. Remove the cups and Voila! This suit fits similarly to other Tyr Durafast suits I own in a size 34/8 - I recently invested in some suits with the racerback style which is better for lap swimming. Perfect size for me. I also have a couple Tyr Durafast racerback suits in a 34/8, bought elsewhere. My measurements are: Bust 34, Waist 27, hips 37. You could go an inch to an inch and a half bigger in measurements, but not more than that. The size chart they provide is accurate. Torso measurement 60.5" (wrap a cloth tape over a shoulder, around your crotch, and back to the starting shoulder. Since cloth tapes are usually only 60" estimate the blank space (mine is 1/2"). If you want to choose a size larger for a roomier fit, keep in mind that the torso length will be longer - not good for petites.

This is a great swim suit. Fit is flattering and the straps stay put even through hour long swimming and drill classes.One note for the taller ladies out there: I think the the torso seems fairly short in this suit, so if you have a longer torso, you may want to look for an alternate suit. I am about 5'6" (175lb) with long legs and an average to slightly short torso (though I am busty too - 34DD - which takes up some room - and I do wish the front panel was about an inch or two taller, but the girls manage to stay inside) and I found this suit feels just a tick snug vertically. This works for me, but I could imagine if you were taller, or longer torsoed, it may be a bit too snug. Overall, I have a hard time finding suits that support the girls well and keep everything in place, and this suit definitely does the trick.I also like that the fabric of this suit is pretty sturdy and it is fully lined, and you can remove the cups from the shelf bra if you don't need them. I've only had the suit about 2 months, but it seems to be holding up well through 2-3 swims a week and I am looking to buy a second one to alternate with.

The fabric is very soft yet supportive. I haven't had it long enough to know if it will hold up well. I probably could have gone a size smaller but I don't like my suits too tight. It has a shelf bra and these removable foam cups that I just took out and tossed. The straps fit a little close to the shoulders so if you have narrow shoulder, slippage could be a problem. I haven't had a problem but I do notice that few of the more serious lap swimmers wear suits with this strap style. The back comes up nice and high in the back and the bottom is conservative. I swim freestyle and backstroke and occasionally do aerobics and this suit is fine for both. The color is beautiful. A nice change from black without getting too bright. I would recommend this suit. If it wears well, I plan to order another.

Fits well-I’m 5’11” and normally wear a 6-8 but got size 12 for length.

Try makes great swimwear but I wish this one dried more easily. Takes forever. I am shortwaisted so this suit in Medium fits me all around but is a bit too long. (extra fabric in the middle.)But no one can see that and I use it regularly -- I am a regular aquafitness gal and it's fine. Hard to buy swimwear online, so try some on in a store

The suit is flattering and fits well, dont have to worry about it moving, riding up, or having exposing gaps

I am a great fan of Tyr swimwear and take good care of my suits - rinsing and soaking after each use. This is the first suit style that has presented an issue. Exterior fabric is typical Tyr quality but the lining faded like a cheap suit. Beware users - when the lining fades, the exterior fabric becomes see-through when you are wearing it - even though no fading is showing outside.I will not purchase this particular style again.
