used it to fix some leak on the roof for a two story home. works great. I will just leave it over there. Aluminum offers more rust resistance compare with steel. I think it should last for a decade or two on the roof.

My roof has several of these anchors mounted for fall protection. They are lightweight but strong, easily installed, and visually unobtrusive (blending nicely with black roof shingles) - and one of the less expensive anchors available. Very satisfied with them.

No screws included. Seems they would include appropriate screw for safety application. I didn’t see any mention of specs for such screws.

I have installed a dozen anchors. They easy to install or anchors yourself, however this product has two rows for screws. It is easy to miss a rafter. I have purchased a different brand with three rows. It is more forgiving. You are pretty much guaranteed to screw two rows of screws in the rafter. The only downside of the other brand is that it is significantly more expensive.

I mounted these under the ridge vent (i.e. apex flashing) of my standing seam metal roof - a perfect application because I can see the structural members and get them spot-on. I used double-sided EPDM ("butyl") tape underneath, cut to the contact footprint, and atop the fasteners I used waterproof tape (i.e. ClearTape).

One of the best tools out there for roofing. It will secure you to your roof. I used this anchor for replacing shingles on my roof, it's worth the money.
