Great product
I looked and looked for a portable toilet that would be easy to carry and easy to use, being old enough now that crouching is not comfortable any more. This is IT!! It is nice and strong, feels a lot like a normal toilet seat, and the height is even adjustable. I bought Biffy Bags to try with it -- they work great. I also tried just a regular bag, and that works OK but I like the Biffy Bag which has the solidifier/deodorizer already in the bag, and can be packed into a sealed outer bag for easy disposal in any trash. Accessories?
Just received the portable loo, so this preliminary review is just to set down my thoughts while they're fresh. It will be updated.Possibly too bulky and heavy to take backpacking, but it is sturdy appearing. As a home emergency kit, it doesn't take up much space.The box tells you about accessories, but good luck finding those on the website of americanoutland.com.The fact that this could hold water in its molded seat means the water can be pumped out for use as a portable bidet. The box agrees. The website no so much.

Sturdy product
Bought 2 of these, one for my car and one for our boat. Haven't used it yet so I didn't give it 5 star but it looks and feels very sturdy and they give you two sets of legs for it (Short and Long ones). One thing - received a small roll of bags and I haven't found them online to purchase - still looking or just going to use regular trash bags for a small trash can. Other than that I'm very satisfied with this purchase.

Better than Expected!
I was very hesitant to use a "porta-potty." But it was my only option when we were working at our remote cabin, before the septic was hooked up. However, I am very pleased with the American Outland TA004 Portable Toilet. The legs are very stable and the bag arrangement is more than satisfactory. The product is 100% as advertised and is a good way to handle an uncomfortable situation.

Should work well for dispersed camping.
Very sturdy yet lightweight. Comes with a reasonably durable carrying case. Comes with 2 sets of legs. The longer legs are the same height as a regular toilet. Bags attach with clever snap-in plugs. Didn't have to actually use this for its designed purpose, but if we had to I'm sure it would have been comfortable enough.

Sturdy & big
It’s pretty big, maybe because we leave it in our trunk so kids can use as emergency potty breaks. They love how it’s almost as high as the regular potty at home unlike the toddler ones we’d been using for years. Seems sturdy.
