New Balance Men's Fresh Foam PaceSL BOA Golf Shoe

I was hesitant on the boa styled shoe but a good friend recommended them. Glad I took his advise and picked up a pair. Very comfortable shoe, easy on and off, and the boa makes adjusting the fit easy on the fly.Shoe is also nicely water resistant. I've owned a pair for almost an entire golf season and they are holding up nicely. Treads are holding up nicely as well. Highly recommend.10/11/2023 Update. I've had these shoes for almost a year and the spikes show very little wear. However, the sole of the shoe is starting to separate from the shoe. A little odd but I also play golf twice a week. Not sure if that's normal wear for a pair of shoes after 100 rounds, but I'll be getting a replacement pair.

I am returning them. The sizing is about right for length, but narrow. I am between a reg and wide depending on the show. These were really tight. I wore them around the house loose and they hurt my feet after 2-3 minutes. I could wiggle my toes fine, but felt a bit of side compression.They seem like they would be good spikeless shoes, but they are really rigid and tight. I don’t see them loosening up much. I gave a 5star review, because the shoe seems alright, they are just 100% not fitted for me.I hope this review helps someone. I have a size 11W in callaway shoes and they fit perfect (a touch long, I’m between a 10.5 and 11)

When I first received these shoes I was concerned that they were too tight. They were difficult to put on. I decided to give them some time and wore them on a trip out west even though no golf was involved. I'm happy to report that the shoes are breaking in nicely and are quite comfortable. They are still a bit tight when putting them on, but not like when they were brand new. And when they are on they fit exactly right. I really don't even need to tighten the 'laces' much, just take the slack out.This is the first pair of shoes for me with the BOA lacing system and I like it. It does take a bit of getting used to after a lifetime of tying laces. Once the initial confusion wears off you realize how simple it is to get the absolute desired lace tension. And that lace tension doesn't come loose! You set it and forget it. And you can forget about those irritating knots you used to get when taking your shoes off in the dark when you can't see the laces.So far the shoes seem to be waterproof but I have yet to play a round in wet conditions. If you don't see an update then they're waterproof.The shoes seem to be well constructed - no loose threads or other imperfections. The foot bed is solid but quite comfortable with adequate arch support.They also look good. I have received a number of compliments regarding their appearance.Would I buy these golf shoes again? So far, a solid yes.27 Sept 2023 update:These are great golf shoes. In fact, I wear them everywhere. And yes, they are waterproof.I will point out, however, that even having broken them in, they do seem a little tight. Not uncomfortably tight or so tight that I'd return them. But I'd recommend that if your normal size shoes tend to fit snuggly, you might want to order a half size larger. For example, if you're a little bit over a size 9.5 but not a size 10, then get the size 10.But again, these are awesome shoes. I will definitely be getting them again when these wear out.

These are great golf shoes! Very comfortable and and fit is perfect. I usually wear 1/2 size larger as my feet expand over 3-4 hours on the course. The lace-free closure system is a real plus! I hope I can get 4-5 seasons or more with these. I play about 25 to 30 rounds a year.

I jumped at these when I saw them. BOA, spikeless, New Balance to boot, with their wide sizes, made these a no-brainer. Great look too, something a Storm Trooper would be issued! BOA control is on the outside so it's easy to turn to tighten, then just pop out the control wheel and the laces loosen. Highly recommend.

Bought this in wide and I am extremely happy with the purchase. It's a hair wider than most "wide" shoes from other brand which suits me perfect. I would say while it's labeled 2E width, it's actually more between 2E and 4E. (Is there such thing as 3E? Never seen one)The shoes are exceptionally lightweight, super comfy walking 18, and breathable. If you're looking for a hot weather golf shoe or something more of a sneaker feel, these are the one. Price is fantastic considering they're new releases and have the BOA system. Compare them to a prominent golf brand that sports a boa and super flex fit, this is about $60 less and looks to be more comfy. Wider too if you're going for a wide fit.Excellent shoe by NB. Kinda wish the blue and grays come in wide from Amazon as well..

Great shoes but a tight fit.

It took 2weeks to get the product, then they were to hard to get my foot in, not product’s fault

Bought it for my husband and it was surprisingly small and weird fit. Probably would be good for wider feet

When opened the BOA string was snapped. When trying to return or replace, I have been given the run around by both Amazon.ca and the Manufacturer New Balance. Buyer beware.
