It’s a good starter telescope, would recommend spending a bit extra on one with an equatorial mount, this tripod mount is good however it’s really shaky, great for seeing planets as far as Saturn and meteors from the asteroid belt. Unfortunately no nebulae or galaxy clusters

This telescope is great for kids getting used to a telescope and learning how to look through an eyepiece. I didn’t expect very much at such a low price, but I was pleasantly surprised at the appearance. It’s great for kiddos, but I don’t know about avid star watchers. Prepare to look up directions on the internet, though. It only came with directions on how to set up the phone adapter. Nice first telescope for kids at an affordable price.****EDIT***I bought this telescope for 26 dollars and change. My previous 4 star review was based on that price. Now it's jumped to $136.00!!! That's insane. I can see the moon and the atmosphere of Jupiter, but I never would've bought this telescope for $136.00. It is INCREDIBLY shaky even with a weight. I enjoy using it, but I think a $110 jump in two weeks since I bought it is insane. I was really upset too because I wanted to buy one for my nieces and I can't afford this new price.
