12" Upright 2 Motor Vacuum CV 300

I'd been vacuum shopping for quite a while, and had checked out a Sebo Felix at my local vacuum shop. While I really liked the design and ease of use, I couldn't justify 700$ for a vacuum. A bit more research led me to this, a commercial version of the Felix, for less than half the cost. Phenomenal vacuum. Budget Sebo Felix.

If you shop around you can get this for $300 shipped. You will have a very difficult time find a better product at retail new price. Sebo is known for high entry cost but low ownership cost, CV300 defy the former and retain the latter. U1 alternative choice, more money, bulkier.Most of premium model features can add later if you are motivated. Owners manual include full rebuild diagram and someone could replace every part for this vacuum without going to a dealer and the cost reasonable. Sebo parts support is awesome, i experience. This vacuum use italian motors, built with high quality plastic, even use custom machine screws and insert brass threads to withstand abuse at the powerhead, the commercial cord is heavy duty. CV300 feels very solid in your hand and rolls on floor like a $700 vacuum...like door on S class compared to Mustang.Filtration is better than many vacuum, but not true HEPA like the Best. Could upgrade to the F9 pet exhaust filter and this vacuum will improve score. This does not blow objective zero on particle scanner like a totl miele or tacony, but air out much cleaner than air in. Tradeoff more bags for same price as 12 layer bags, but capacity lower.Agitation, CFM, and Suction are all above average, but not the best individual; overall good in combination. Groom carpet very well. I wish they make upgrade 3 row fluted or slotted brushroll to remove tangles quicker plus increase airflow.Sebo offer optional soft brushroll/parquet head/Kombi head for wool carpet and bare floors for many situations. Can even buy strap convert to backpack style. I wish vacuum have a slot in the pedal or neck so that you can select 2 steps for recline. Doesn't lock upright with parquet brush attached. Use hose is a little awkward without extension and will easily tip vacuum over (top fill compromise).
