This was a waste of my money. Was unable to get it to change the combination. Got the first 2 numbers changed and then it would not allow me to move the 3rd number. Extremely awkward to even try.I would not trust this to lock ANYTHING. Cord is thinner than an old school telephone cord. Didn't seem like there's a cable inside. It would probably cut with a pair of scissors. It's going back.

The little rotating numbers get stuck when you are try to turn them after locking or looking yo get it unlocked.The numbers are engraved on the rotating wheels and are all chrome, if you are on a low light environment and want to use a flashlight the chrome would shine so bright that you cannot see the number indentations.

The negative reviews with regard to the combination settings not staying set after changing the default combination as well as how flimsy the wire is are 100% accurate.After resetting the combination on my lock from the default 000 and testing it several times (locking, changing the combo, unlocking successfully, etc.), I locked my helmet to my motorcycle. When I tried to open the lock using the combination that I successfully tested just a few moments before it would not open.After a few more unsuccessful attempts to unlock the lock I finally snipped the wire with a pair of standard household scissors. I was surprised just how easy it was to cut the wire with semi-dull scissors.Don't waste your money on this.

Rest the the combination per provided instructions and the lock would not open, apparently there is no way to set anything back so once the lock is locked you cannot unlock it- very disappointed.
