Outstanding!
This screen protector is great. After suffering through the plastic Nikon protector for far too long, I decided to find something nicer and the GGS products seem to be highly recommended. It is optically transparent, perfectly sized, and easy to apply. It's quite strong, far stronger than the stock plastic protector or the bare LCD. It's made my D700 just about perfect. The top LCD protector is also a nice touch.Update: As of August 2012, they are still going strong. They are still firmly attached and look great, with no scratching. I feel as if these will last for the life of the camera. Makes me wish I could get these protectors for all my pieces of technology that have LCD screens.

Smooth operation, smooth mount on the M42 and the Fuji X sides
Many complained of stiff operation. Your complaints must have been accounted for as the one that just arrived moves like a hot knife through butter. No slop, no slack.Using on my Fuji X camera with a Takumar 400mm f/5.6. When coupled with the regular M42 to X mount adapter (with 30mm of helecoid) it allows focus to under 6 feet.I use this for micro work where I "can't get there from here" such as in the middle of a river or reaching into a bog or swamp.Makes this lens SO much more useful.Strongly recommend.Just wish they'd make a helecoid like this Fuji X to Fuji X to use on my 55-200 XF lens. So much better than a bellows. So much easier to work with than a set of multiple extension tubes. It works so well, I recently acquired an old M42 thread Fujinon 200mm EBC lens to use with this tube.

The M39 thread is a VERY loose fit
While they do thread on and I can tighten them down to the lens board, they are a very sloppy fit on all 3 of my M39 enlarger lenses from 3 different lens manufacturers and as follows, pretty easy to work loose with a little jiggling. Looks like I'll be buying some $20 Beseler "jam nut" flanges instead as I don't have much faith in these things.

Manual Focus Adapter
Product is quick and easy to use. Yes, M42 does not fit my camera body BUT all the easily to find adapters are tied to M42. So it was easy to use enlarger lenses, old lenses and odd things to use for image capture. To decide what reach the focus should have, you need to know the camera flange distance and the lens flange distance. For infinite focus, the lens must be a focal length from the image plane. It is not easy to just ask which size adapter as the lens focus plane can be some distance from the flange distance. You need to check the specifications of the lens.Great Product for the price!!!!!!!!!

Very useful, functional, simple.
Seems to work well, might even have a bit more travel than just 7mm (the 12mm - 19mm model). Moreover, it can be jammed right into one of those rear lens protectors. Search for: "58mm Macro Reverse Adapter Ring and Rear Lens Mount Protection Ring Mount 58mm Filter Thread Lens." With EOS-NEX** adaptation it affords 2mm of travel beyond infinity (useful for testing for the existence of infinity focus problems). Depending on the camera mount(s) involved you have to do some measurements & whether this'll work in such a manner. In my case it worked like a charm by irremovably jamming this piece into the 58mm threaded barrel of the other. Were I to create a Version 2 - with more past-infinity travel - I'd take it to a machinist & have another 2mm ground off the other piece.**Canon EF/EOS--to--Sony NEX/E-mount
