Bought it to see how heavy the 50 caliber aluminum projectiles are for my Byrna Mission 4 air rifle and surprisingly, they're pretty heavy and work really well. Scale is easy to use, comes with 2 AAA batteries that have clear plastic protective film on them. At first the 50 gram counterweight showed as 49.75 grams and after few seconds the scale showed 50. Look, it's a $20 scale to measure 'basic' stuff like ammo and tobacco. If you need a super precise scale, then don't complain about this one, instead, go buy a proper scale for your intended and desired purpose. I was gonna order the orange one but i love blue!

The charge wavers occasionally if the tare is not place exactly in the center. Sometimes the weight varies even if the tare is placed in the center.

well it looks well made but the 50mg weight is off its 50.05. and the scale will go up a little at times by .01- .03 not much
