Animated Documentary Hardcover – Illustrated, 11 June 2013

The book is very important in its content, but quit hard to read. The writer writes in very long sentences without many stops... And uses extremely high English that even a native speaker would need a dictionary open...The price was also a bit high compared to other soft cover books of the same nature..Otherwise a very important, well done book.

As I am preparing a PhD application focused on Animated documentary, this book has become essential reading. Well written and researched it is providing the backbone of my research and practice. I am still reading but thus far Bella's book has given an excellent history plus clear and concise outlines of representation and function.
