This is a great fan. Easy setup. Let’s address the naysayers. First off, you don’t need a remote. The Govee Home app on your phone is your remote. When you add the Govee Home skill to Alexa, Alexa is your remote. So if I can use my phone and my voice to control the fan, why would I need a physical remote? Next, the noise. No different from most of it’s competition. I’ve owned several tower fans over the years from different companies. This one is actually quieter than the smaller fan it replaced in my bedroom. I have no issues sleeping with it running even at the highest speeds. I’ve experienced no rattling or wobbling at all. Nice smooth motion and steady white-noise like sound at a very reasonable level. Air flow is great. I can feel it across a large room. It was easy to setup, connect to the WiFi, get the app setup and connect to Alexa. There are plenty of options for modes, speeds, timers, etc. If you have a Govee temperature sensor you can pair it to the fan via Bluetooth and have the fan automatically turn on at a certain temperature and turn off when when it drops to a lower temperature. This is a great full-featured fan. Govee did a great job. I am very happy with it, and I plan to buy more for other rooms in my house.

I will try to review different things that surprised me and made me want to buy more of these as they get put on flash sales by govee and Amazon.1. Easy to setup out of the box. Remove it slowly, assemble the bottom 2 stand pieces by clicking them into place, remove the red plastic nut that holds the plastic off the fan, route the power wire thru the plastic stand first and than the red nut, screw and tighten the red plastic nut down back onto the fan, and finally route the power cable thru one of the sides of the plastic stand. Easy, done. Next.2. Plug it in and turn on your govee app. Press the power button on the fan to have it running. Go to the app and press the + add button top right hand side. Press the Bluetooth icon top right hand side. Select the govee tower fan and do the setup. Easy stuff. Just follow the directions.3. There are 4 modes to choose for your fan. Normal mode where you select the speed 1-8. Sleep mode is the best for, you guessed it, sleeping and it is QUIET 🤫, amazing work govee engineeres. Wind mode simulates outside wind bursts, it will increase and decrease over time and it is amazing for those who have plants in the house, really gets them moving. And finally a custom setting where you select the exact speed you like as a quick select. Nice.4. The lights can be turned off on top of the unit so they don't disrupt your sleep or your plants night time schedule. Very nice touch govee, you know us all to well.5. The oscillation is perfect just enough sweep to cover a good area. Not bad. Good for a grow tent and it will cover a good section from a corner. Not bad at all.Final conclusion, I will definitely buy more of these since they are simple yet very effective. Cools 😎 amazingly.

I own a lot of Govee products, and after buying and using this fan for one summer, it probably gets the most use out of everything. It will definitely stay active in my home year-round.It is really convenient to be able to control this fan through Alexa, although sometimes it misunderstands my commands. For example, when I ask Alexa to turn the fan off, the Govee device interprets that as "turn off the oscillation feature". I don't mind this much, I just try to be more specific with commands if this happens.I appreciate the included hygrometer a lot, it has been an excellent and useful surprise, and frankly I wish they had come with my Govee humidifiers too! I love how you can see accurate temperature and humidity inside the app's home screen AND in the fan controls. You can sync the two together, and even though I don't currently have a practical application for that feature I love that it exists anyway and would like to utilize it more in the future. I'm currently syncing it with one of my humidifiers and it's very helpful because otherwise I'll forget to turn them off and waste water.On its maximum setting, the fan is GREAT at circulating air, and while it's loud at that level I believe that's justified - the sleep setting is plenty quiet. Unfortunately, minus one star because I've noticed it tends to stutter and wobble a little when it changes direction even though it's set up according to the directions on a flat level surface. Not sure if this is typical. Otherwise, I'm very pleased.

I wanted a WiFi fan for my bedroom so I could use my Alexa to control it at night.The setup was a little confusing but once I got it connected it is quiet and even on the lowest setting it works great with plenty of air to my head even from about 3’ from the end of a California king bed.I don’t need all the settings but it has an app with LOTS of options.I would prefer it was a little less expensive with fewer options but no complaints.*FYI this fan doesn’t have a remote but you can control with your voice or from the app*

Fan works nicely and easy to set up to WiFi. My gripe was I paid extra for the sensor so it will turn on at set temperature. The sensor arrived broken. Customer service was great with hearing my issue and initiating a claim. Problem is they said they would ship a new one. Weeks later, I am still waiting…pretty sure it’s not coming at this point. I would not buy again.They did provide a replacement and it was an upgraded version. I am very pleased with their resolution to my problem. I have now had the fan for several months and it is working excellent. Do to great customer service and quality of product, I have changed my review back to 5 stars.
