I bought this for a family member, I just loved it, and so did they. It gets hard buying gifts for older people and as they suffer with mixed dementia it was lovely to hear them reminiscing about what happened the year they were born.There's plenty packed into this book, I was not disappointed. In fact I think its going to be a regular 'go to' gift for others (obviously different years)

I had a great time reading this clever, well researched and presented book before reluctantly having to wrap it up and give it to my friend for his 80th birthday. He loved it! It contains so much information from all areas of interest and to suit all tastes. Well worth the money. I've just bought the next one as I want to read it and know there must be someone I know who's about to be 70. Great stuff
