Power Plant Engineering

This book has a variety of topics explained in very detailed manner,but the language of the book is not very savvy for the understanding of a student studying powerplant engineering for the very first time,if you're not already familiar with the practicality of powerplants,you may find this book a bit hard to follow.The GATE syllabus is very minimal for powerplant engineering so it's not that important from that perspective either,The book by R.K. Rajput on the same subject is a bit student friendly and easier to follow in terms of language so i'd recommend to opt for that book for semester exams.you can still give it a shot for ESE purpose or just for the sake of knowledge.

This book is a very advanced one for Electrical Engineering students and you might need 2 reference books and a very handy knowledge of Mechanical Engineering topics. For average students I would recommend some other easy book on this subject.

Doesn't start from the basic level, but rather jumped to an advanced level. Very few numericals provided & that too not properly solved.Look for other books!

Despite of being a used book it doesn't seems to be. The book was in very good conditions. It's a very important book from the perspective of college syllabus and GATE too. Language of the book is also understandable.

I received 3rd edition while in photo it's showing 4th, but good thing is that it's in a good condition as well, ordered second hand but feeling like almost new, thanks a lot

A very good book specially for nuclear power plant engineering part .Before buying this book please try to have basic ideas of thermodynamics clear.Great book go for it.

a nice book from nag sir....it has a large no. of numerical and an ample amount of mcq that gives a good command over this subject....theory part is little less..but it doesnt effect much! :)
