kwmobile Crystal Case Compatible with Apple iPad Mini 4 - TPU Silicone Protective Smart Cover - Transparent

I have no idea what the complaints are about. This was the perfect case that I’ve been looking for. I previously had a clear back for my iPad Air2, but it broke.I decided to look for another. Mainly, I wanted to be able to use it with the Smart Cover I had purchased long ago. This seemed like a fairly newer company, different from the one I got that broke on the corner. The Air2 back fit great and was the soft, flexible material I preferred. I decided to see if they made one for the Mini4, and, Leo and behold, they did. Shipping was very fast, packaged nicely.Cover again is soft, flexible, easy to grip AND fits with my Smart Cover. Cut outs are right where they should be, and there is an elevated front edge for protection. It does exactly what it’s supposed to do, looks and feels good, and is priced nicely. If you want a clear case back and want to use the Smart Cover, this is the company to look at.Thanks!

This is a great protector for my iPad mini. It fits perfectly and accommodates the smart cover well. Also a great price.

I really like using a transparent TPU back combined with an Apple Smart Cover. Both sides are protected, and I can remove the Smart Cover if I want. I have a full-sized iPad with this combination and I'm really happy with it. So when I bought the Mini 4, I picked up a refurbished Smart Cover at half price and ordered this transparent TPU back cover.This back cover fits perfectly and works great with the Smart Cover. All of the cutouts are precisely aligned with the buttons and microphone holes they're supposed to be aligned with. This case like all TPU cases has a good feel and provides excellent scratch protection and a medium level of drop protection. It is thin and light, so it doesn't significantly add weight or bulk. And being transparent, it shows off the beauty of the iPad - especially nice if you have the gold iPad. (Mine's silver and it looks great in this case.)But transparent TPU cases tend to yellow over time. I've purchased transparent TPU cases for every iPhone I've ever owned and I have one on my larger iPad. The yellowing usually starts about 6 months after purchase and gets bad enough in 12 months that I want to replace it. I don't mind replacing it every year because these off-brand cases are very affordable.But this one was a bit yellow right out of the box. That's not surprising -- the iPad Mini 4 was introduced three years ago and now (August 2018) it's not a big seller. So, this company probably stopped making these cases a while ago, and it sells whatever's left in its aging stock from its last production run, whenever that was.The yellow tint is really not terribly noticeable at this point, and the case only cost me $8 so I'm not upset. But like all TPU cases, it'll surely get yellower over time, and I'll have to replace it a bit sooner than I would have if it had zero yellowing out of the box.

I was surprised by how happy I was with this purchase. I needed something simple so that when I set my iPad down it doesn’t get dirty or scratched so as a product it does that. The price is very reasonable and I like that it is clear. For anyone that has said it does not fit, I don’t think that they realize that there are different models of iPad out there which are slightly different in size. I have an iPad 4 and this fitted like a glove.

I only bought it for my iPad Mini 5 because, so far, it seems not one company, including Apple, has made a clear Smart Cover Compatible iPad Mini 5 case (back cover). Keep that in mind, if you read the rest of my review:On my iPad Mini 5 (not 4) It fits and works with the Smart Cover but the cut out slightly covers the camera (someone else who ordered it for the same reason I did mentioned that it doesn't affect taking pictures but I haven't tried that personally myself). There's no cut out for the new position of the mic, of course, and where the volume buttons are, the button covers on the case don't align exactly, but I can still depress the buttons and they work. Speaker cut outs, audio jack input, power button and lightning ports are all aligned, however. Feels like where the speakers and lightning port cut outs are the plastic is thin, and could potentially break/tear there, at some point down the road; time will tell. I'm usually pretty careful with my devices, so hopefully, that won't be an issue.It does have a slight lip along the 3 edges; I haven't tried to put a (glass) screen protector on yet, so I'm not sure how it will impact that. It arrived slightly yellowed, so, like all my other crystal clear cases (iPhone), I'm sure it will eventually yellow even further. But, for now, more than anything else, I just wanted to prevent the back and corners of my iPad Mini 5 from getting scratched/dinged up until someone makes a Smart Cover compatible version specific to this machine.Would it protect the Mini from a fall? I suppose that would depend on how far it fell and against what kind of surface; for scratch protection, it is more than sufficient.

I bought this case and it fits very well with the original Apple smart cover.The case itself has good build quality but not as anti-scratch as other competitors since it have some scratches after a month of use.Overall, this is a very good case and original smart cover works seamlessly with it.

Be warned. This does not fit an iPad mini 4. Most likely because of the side being cut off to fit an Apple front cover. Because of the missing side it doesn’t fit tight around the other 3 sides and moves around.

I wanted a case to protect just the back and edges of my iPad Mini 4 when I use it in a stand with my Mavic Pro drone. I have a glass screen protector on, so the iPad's front is already protected. This case fits very well and can be taken off easily when I'm ready to put the iPad back in it's full case. Because it's made to go with Apple's case, only the short sides are fully protected, but that works for my application. I really like the tacky no-slip feel of this case too.

I am always looking for the perfect accessories and came upon it with this case! It fits the iPad Mini 4 perfectly and leaves space to put in the smart cover.

Ich habe eine Panzerfolie auf meinem IPad 4 mini und muss sagen, bei meinem Pad passt das Cover perfekt. Ich habe auch bis jetzt noch nicht bemerkt, dass es locker sitzt. Leider hatte ich nicht darauf geachtet, dass es auf der linken Seite eine Aussparung hat, wofür eigentlich?

E' leggerissima e gommosa, non ingombrante come alcuni di quei case che fanno diventare un oggetto da super sottilea catafalco. Lo apprezzo perchè, oltre a proteggere dagli urti, svolge una funzione antiscivolo quando tieni l'ipad in mano. Inoltre è compatibile con la copertina rigida per lo schermo. Ottimo prodotto, ottimo prezzo (del resto è roba tedesca!) lo consiglio senz'altro.

Absolutely delighted with this case. I don’t understand the reviews complaining about the “missing” left hand edge as were this not the case it would not be Smart Cover compatible. It fits my mini iPad perfectly and also allows me to use the Smart Cover I was given for Christmas with pictures of my grandchildren on it.
