LALAGEN Womens Plus Size Lace Cold Shoulder Casual Long Plain Evening Party Maxi Dress L-5X

I put this dress on and absolutely fell in love with it, so I'm writing this review to beg someone to make it in small and medium sizes. It's very comfortable and has such an interesting design. The material is nice and soft. However, it is a strange mixture of what seems like a very casual material with the more formal lace and fancier design. Some people may not like that, but I think it's great to have a casual dress that is so interesting, with details like cold shoulders and the low-high design and lace.I don't normally wear dresses, but I wanted something for hot summers. I really wanted to wear tennis shoes with the dress and just use it to keep cool when doing a lot of walking, like at a zoo, but it is probably too fancy for that, and the lo-high design would definitely showcase my ugly tennis shoes. But for this comfy dress, I'd consider trying to actually find comfy not-tennis-shoes. Unfortunately, it is a bit too long in the back and would drag on the ground, so I'm likely to return it. I wrote the seller to see if they can get a small or medium because I like the dress that much.I feel like the top looks fine even though it's a little big for me (so well designed!), but if I go smaller, it may showcase my extra weight and bloated stomach from some medicine I'm on, so shapewear may be in order. The size large fit well except the length in back dragging on the ground a bit in flat tennis shoes (zero drop shoes), so if you're taller than me or wear heels, you'd probably love the dress. I'm 5'2 and 3/4 inches and right now I'm hovering around 144 lbs. (Normally around 138 lbs. and hoping to be back to the 130 lbs. I was before the medicine). I got the dress in a slimming black.I do think the dress looks different than in the pictures and hope they'll update the pictures. The lace seems to be a different pattern, and there's no square notch of lace coming up out of the border in the middle of the dress. See other customer pictures for a better look at the actual dress you'll receive.Try this dress. You may be surprised.Update: I think I like the dress enough that I will keep it even though I'd rather have it in a medium. There are no signs that it will be available in that size.

Love this! The lace is pretty and soft, but be careful with jewelry or it may snag. The material is kinda see through in the white color. I'm wearing a seamless slip in nude color to help with that. And, make sure all your undergarments are smooth and seamless for a polished look. If it helps you, I'm 5'8", 40 D, 38 inch waist and 40 inch hips. This is a size 2XL. Highly recommend!

Fits well, material is kinda clingy… Will need to use something for static cling. Other than that I think it will be great.

I really love this dress. It's soft and comfortable, and looks good on. I got the 5x (I can't remember what Amazon recommended, but I have a 53" bust) and it fits wonderfully. If I wanted a more form fitting fit, I could go down one size to a 4x. I traditionally wear a size 3 at Torrid, if that helps.Now I think I need more colors.

This dress is very flattering. I have a lot of hanging skin at my underarms and it covers it up. The dress can be dressed up or casual. I definitely will be ordering another color. Absolutely love it

I purchased the XXL in malachite green. The Amazon picture is way darker than it really is. It’s more of a medium teal green. (I wish it was the deep malachite green shown in the picture) I usually wear a size XL or 16w-18w dress and this fits with room to spare. I may have been able to wear the CL but ordered larger to accommodate my curves so this will be fine. The dress is perfect for a summer date, but I won’t wear it to the wedding I had planned to wear it to because I think it’s a little too casual looking. I appreciate that at 5’2” and curvy, that this dress can be worn with sandals and won’t drag on the ground. I like the way it fits and I don’t think it’s too shear but I’ll probably wear capri leggings under it anyway. Now for the bad: I think this dress was used or at least tried on. It came crumpled in a padded envelope, inside out with the button unbuttoned. Seriously, who ships a new dress that cost $39.99 out like that? I was very disappointed and that has rarely happened to me in the almost 20 years that I’ve been an Amazon Prime member. (with hundreds of purchases) I realize that I could return and reorder (especially considering that the dress is $6 cheaper today), but why should I have to go through all that trouble? Since the dress has no snags or odors, I’ll keep the dress but be aware, you may get a used or returned dress too (and it may come inside out and crammed in an envelope). Disappointing for sure!

I think it could be dressed up or down. It runs small. The quality is good, versatility is good, value for money is good, not very thick, and easy to use.

Love this dress. I ordered red and was worried it may be a bright red but was color of picture. Fits to a tee and material is stretchy and very comforable.

This is a lovely dress but the material is not flattering to a plus size frame. Very comfortable. Would wear with a delicate shawl to dress it up.
