When I first got this I was not sure it would hold my 45 kg German Shepherd who tends to pull quiet aggressively at times , specially if he spots another dog, however it held. Only draw back I see when compared to a cloth belt type of leash is at times it hurts like if the dog get it wrapped round your leg or if you hold it in the middle in a bid to shorten and control the dog or prevent it from reaching stuff it could hurt or destroy.Otherwise, strong and durable

For a heavy dog looks very thin. I am afraid it won't broke when dog got furious and aggressive.

Pro's of the product in question:1) good quality chain. I have a labrador pup who is quite headstrong sometimes. At no point in use did the chain felt weak.2) holding strap is wide and padded well, making it easy to hold in the palm.3) chain material is really good (stainless steel), meaning the chain will not rust when used in rain.Con's:1) The product which I received had some bad welds on chain links, which can cause tiny cuts on palms, if you are trying to adjust chain length a bit (as in, looping the chain in one hand to make sure your dog doesn't stray far away from you). Normally it won't be an issue, but seeing as dogs sometimes smother themselves in dirt, the cuts may cause some infection.2) This is a solid metal chain. So if your dog is teething, and plays with the chain while you are pulling the other end, this may result in injuries to dog's teeth.3) The loop connecting the chain to collar could be a bit bigger, for easy attachment to collar of playful dogs who have a hard time staying still.I hope this review helps people looking for a good quality leash.
