CompTIA A+ Complete Practice Tests: Core 1 Exam 220-1101 and Core 2 Exam 220-1102

I want to give a big thank-you to the authors for making a practice test book that works! It turns out that unofficial tests are sometimes scams, and I'm fairly certain one my online tests from another vendor was just an AI-generated script.I've already given it away to someone who is planning to take the test in the future. Great work, and well done!

Haven't taken the test yet. But found it very difficult to switch between questions in front and correct answers in the back. So, with a box cutter I cut out all the questions, stapled together based on chapters. Now it is much easier to do the questions and read the correct answers in the back.

I haven't taken the A+ exam yet but I've been using this book that I received through a recent humble bundle to study for it. There are some tricky questions in here and I imagine the exam is somewhat similar. It's why I felt the need to use these practice exams to prepare because even with a good depth of knowledge the way they ask questions can be difficult to parse at times because one word may change what the correct answer may be.A good example is actually from a previous review here by Anthony who was tripped up on an OLED question. If you read the answer thoroughly you'll see that OLED is not classified as LCD therefore it wouldn't be a possibility leaving VA as the correct answer. I'm adding easier to read photos of the question and answer so you can read for yourself.Overall so far I've found the book to be useful for test prep but I plan to use other resources as well.

Good book and bonuses. Coupon codes do not work.I contacted the company for a valid CompTIA test discount code as advertised on the cover. They just gave me an endless run around from dept to dept. for several weeks. I gave up.Good content. Dishonest false advertising on the coupon code.

This gives you exactly what it says on the tin: Lots of multiple choice questions, plus an answer key. Each answer in the answer key also has a couple sentences or more explaining why the correct answer IS the correct one, as well as why the ones that are not correct ARE incorrect. I like that and, most importantly, I passed! :)

When combined with Messer and Dion, I found these practice tests quite helpful. I should say that I perhaps didn't use it in the intended way, as I found it more productive to open a page at random and pick a question to see how well I could answer it, to highlight where I might need to brush up some more, otherwise I found myself distracted on points that were not my weakest. A decent helpful guide - although I'd prefer notched pages or some way to more quickly flip between the questions and answers pages, as that's how I found it most useful.

It does not cover all the Comptia test.
