These lights help me feel safe when I am commuting by bicycle to and from work in the 12th biggest city in the USA. I would not "trust" the white ones to be a full on headlight if/when I need to ride at night, but the red ones (I have on my helmet currently) worked very well in the dusk hours of a LONG summer ride around NYC and Staten Island; I was traveling up a 330 foot hill when a car ( I could see its headlights coming) was coming down the road and, due to these lights, immediately saw me on the road and acted (drove) respectful of my cycling area/lane. It comes with PLENTY of batteries and although I can't say how long they really last I have only had the replace the batteries in each unit once, in 360+ miles of biking in the past 3 months. I would recommend these to someone who knows that they need more light on their bike to be seen during a morning and afternoon commute by bicycle.

I have been an avid bike commuter for many years and the most important thing is having decent lights. Issues I have had with lights in the past are mounting, working flawlessly, and just being in the way.I have to say these lights are fantastic. They go on super easy, are unobtrusive and very bright. The construction is such that I do not see any obvious failure points. (I work in hardware at a 'major' electronics company)They also shipped with enough batteries to last me quite awhile.They turn on as most lights do by pressing on them, repeated presses cycles through the different mode.While some lights can be confusing: am I pressing the right place?or unforgiving: Am I pressing hard enough?I have had none of these problems.Note that my wife, who usually asks me to install gadgets on the bike, was able to slap these puppies on with zero problems.At this price point they are simply amazing.

I love the color, matches my ride pretty bright

These are awesome! First, they are much brighter than similarly priced lights. Second, they look awesome on all of my different style Bianchi bikes. I consider them 50% functionality and 50% vanity. If you need a very bright headlight for total darkness, you might buy something more substantial. I like riding in the dark, so these are perfect to alert drivers and oncoming bikers at night.

Excellent price and easy to install. I got just that! Installation took seconds and they fit will around two mountain bike flat bars.I will say I didn't buy these to light up a trail or to ride on the road with. I bought them in case I ever get delayed on an evening ride and needed some front and rear flashing lights to make others aware. These are brighter than I expected, and when I tested them in my garage with the lights off they were very noticeable. Will bike with that additional piece of mind now and will probably buy more in the near future.

Great product

THIS IS THE SECOND TIME I TRIED THESE LIGHTS. I HAD TO SEND BACK THE FIRST SET. ONE HEADLIGHT WAS VERY BRIGHT. THE OTHER ONLY 50% BRIGHTNESS - THE PACKAGE LOOKED LIKE MAYBE A PREVIOUS RETURN?THIS SECOND SET ALL LIGHTS SAME BRIGHTNESS AND I'LL SEE HOW LONG THE BATTERY LASTS.

I love these lights! They are ready for use our of the package. I just slipped the plastic barrier out of the battery and clipped the light around my bike frame...done! It has three settings: fast flash, slower flash, constant light. I like how you just have to press the top of the light where the Velitte logo is to change the setting. No one has run me over yet at night...they must be working their magic!
