If My Heart Could Talk: A Story of Family, Faith, and Miracles

I just loved reading the stories in here and it just really struck me how God works in this families' life due to their love and commitment to God. Sermons in church are okay for some, but I like stories about the results of those that are a real-deal Christian, something sadly that I have found rare in this life. I liked it so much in fact, that I plan on giving it as gifts. I rarely purchase books and just get them from the library, but I had to make an exception here. I listened to the audio version as well which is even more wonderful as hearing the emotion in her voice just makes this book even more meaningful and greatly inspirational. I just love you Dodie.

What a sweet lady. Very nicely written and inspiring book. Brings you to a very simple reality that as our Lord said the kingdom of God is within each and every one of us. The healing scriptures at the end are the icing on the cake. It is these readings that got Mrs Osteen to overcome her cancer. Of course with the healing power of our Lord, but we have to believe it in our hearts and it will come to pass. Now I see where Joel gets it from. The seed doesn't fall far from the tree.

At this time I am on page 188 and I wish the book would never end. I was so inspired to learn more about faith in God, and how valuable and powerful is the Word of God. I loved the stories about how in our frailties of fear and imperfections God still loves us and provides for us and our families. I see Lakewood in a new light of understanding. I wish their were sequels that I could binge read.

Great book of what God can do. Healing from cancer. Joel taking over. Amazing family. And my favourite story is that of the dog scooter.

Dodie Osteen's wonderful book is one of those I wished would never end - I enjoyed every page, and so did all family members and friends to whom I recommended this very inspirational and interesting book. You will be glad you joined us if you choose to read it!

Wonderful book! Dodie Osteen is an amazing lady with an amazing life story! What an inspiration! As she talked about her husband and his ministry, I just had to look up and listen to some of John Osteen's messages. Awesome! I have read all of Joel Osteen's books and wasn't really sure what to expect with Dodie's book. I can say I LOVE this book!

Very heart warming and makes you want to love GOD, family, people and life more.

A great testimony of a women that believed there is nothing imposible for God. We are not perfect but our God is perfect, faithfully...and will always be there at all times. Thanks for a great book....your life and your faith is inspiring. Be bless in Jesus name!!!

Ms. Dolores capture in this book all of the revelation thatvhad happen in her life and somehow hapoen innthe life of mostvof us, however she had along her husband that has always reminding her to stop and listen and over all have faith and she was blessed (also contribute to that fact a lot) with a wonderful family and community tgatbsupoort her in the moemnt of doubt.
